Depois de reassistir o clássico Carrie, a Estranha, resolvi ler o livro, e Stephen King é realmente maravilhoso. Na mesma semana, comecei a pensar sobre como essa temática ainda é tão atual e, com a internet, sua importância só se intensificou. Refleti muito sobre o final do livro e fiquei pensando: e se essa história de Carrie se passasse no Brasil? E se Carrie tivesse sobrevivido? A partir dessas perguntas, mergulhei em uma jornada criativa. Essas páginas são o resultado do meu delírio de fã e também uma releitura mais contemporânea da trama, onde Carine e Lolis surgem em um cenário brasileiro, lutando contra traumas, ódio e o peso de suas escolhas. Uma história que, de certa forma, ecoa os desafios que todos enfrentamos hoje, mas com uma pitada de sobrenatural, super-heróis e uma crítica social afiada. Eu não acredito em neutralidade, cada palavra transmite minhas experiências, convicções e meus próprios traumas. Qualquer coincidência com a realidade não é coincidência.
