My Inn is an S-Rank Dungeon

My Inn is an S-Rank Dungeon

Leo was a top-tier real estate agent, a master of contracts and negotiation who was quite literally worked to death. His only dying wish was for a peaceful life, free from stressful clients and demanding deadlines. He gets his wish—with a cosmic twist. Leo awakens as the master of 'The Threshold Inn,' a mysterious and ancient establishment that exists between dimensions. He is granted a single, ludicrously overpowered skill: [Absolute Domain]. Within the confines of his property, his word is fundamental law. He can nullify any magic, stop any fight, and enforce any rule with a mere thought. Dreaming of a quiet retirement, Leo decides to run the Inn like the ultimate business. The problem? His only potential tenants are the multiverse's most powerful and problematic individuals: a fugitive valkyrie from a fallen holy order, a disgraced demon general hiding from a civil war, a mischievous information broker with a bounty on his head, and even forgotten gods on the run. These S-Rank tenants pay their rent not in gold, but in legendary skills, rare artifacts, and cosmic secrets, making Leo and his Inn more powerful with each new lease agreement he signs. When a duke's elite knights storm his lobby to capture a guest, Leo doesn't lift a finger. He simply declares, "No unauthorized violence," and watches as their holy swords transform into bouquets of flowers. His journey is not one of a hero, but of the ultimate landlord. He must manage escalating threats, mediate disputes between divine beings, and fend off cosmic powers who covet his unique domain—all while trying to enforce a strict 'no noise after 10 PM' policy. He just wants to collect rent and enjoy a quiet eternity, but as his Inn becomes the most influential and chaotic hub in all of existence, Leo learns a timeless lesson: a landlord's work is never done. The Book of Daniel

The Book of Daniel

This book takes its name from its hero, who was allegedly among the first Jews deported to Babylon, where he lived at least until 538 B.C. Strictly speaking, the book does not belong to the prophetic writings but rather to a distinctive type of literature known as “apocalyptic,” of which it is an early specimen. Apocalyptic writing first appears about 200 B.C. and flourished among Jews and Christians down to the Middle Ages, especially in times of persecution. Apocalyptic literature has its roots in the older teaching of the prophets, who often pointed ahead to the day of the Lord, the consummation of history. For both prophet and apocalyptist there was one Lord of history, who would ultimately vindicate the chosen people. Apocalyptic also has roots in the wisdom tradition. Daniel has the gift of discernment from God. Greek wisdom (represented by the Babylonian “magicians and enchanters”) is ridiculed (see especially chaps. 2 and 5), whereas God reveals hidden things to faithful servants. This work was composed during the bitter persecution carried on by Antiochus IV Epiphanes (167–164 B.C.) and was written to strengthen and comfort the Jewish people in their ordeal. The persecution was occasioned by Antiochus’s efforts to unify his kingdom, in face of the rising power of Rome, by continuing the hellenization begun by Alexander the Great; Antiochus tried to force Jews to adopt Greek ways, including religious practices. Severe penalties, including death, were exacted against those who refused. The book contains traditional stories, which tell of the trials and triumphs of the wise Daniel and his three companions. The moral is that people of faith can resist temptation and conquer adversity. The stories bristle with historical problems and have the character of historical novels rather than factual records. What is more important than the question of historicity, and closer to the intention of the author, is the fact that persecuted Jews of the second century B.C. would quickly see the application of these stories to their own plight. There follows series of visions promising deliverance and glory to the Jews in the days to come. The great nations of the ancient world have risen in vain against the Lord; his kingdom shall overthrow existing powers and last forever; in the end the dead will be raised for reward or punishment. Under this apocalyptic imagery some of the best elements of prophetic and sapiential teaching are synthesized: the insistence on right conduct, the divine control over events, the certainty that the kingdom of God will ultimately triumph and humanity attain the goal intended for it at the beginning of creation. The arrival of the kingdom is a central theme of the gospels, where Jesus is identified as the human figure (or “Son of Man”) who appears in Daniel’s vision. The message in both parts of the first chapters is that history unrolls under the watchful eye of God, who does not abandon those who trust in him and will finally deliver and re-establish them. Moreover, it can be pointed out the same teaching in different symbolism; even describes the king’s dream as a “vision.” I hope that you all enjoy this book! God bless you

THE MAGIC INN

THE MAGIC INN

In a world teetering on the edge of chaos, The Magic Inn stands as a sanctuary, a place where travelers and adventurers can rest, find solace, and discover their destinies. But beneath its quaint exterior lies a hidden power—the heartstone, an ancient relic with the ability to connect and protect the realms of the living and the supernatural. Mikel, an unassuming young man with an innate connection to the inn’s mysterious power, is thrust into a world of magic and danger when dark forces, led by a malevolent shadow figure, threaten to breach the boundaries between worlds. As the Keeper of the inn, Mikel is tasked with defending it against these encroaching threats, but with each passing day, the forces of darkness grow stronger. Joined by his companions—Dorian, a seasoned warrior with a troubled past, and Naira, a gifted mage with ancient knowledge—they must harness the heartstone's power to protect the inn and restore balance to the realms. As the darkness tightens its grip, Mikel discovers that the inn is more than just a place—it is a powerful nexus of magic, a focal point that holds the fragile barrier between worlds intact. The battle for the inn’s survival becomes a race against time as the darkness seeks to destroy everything in its path. With the fate of the world resting on his shoulders, Mikel must make unimaginable sacrifices and confront the true nature of the heartstone’s power. In the end, he must decide whether to continue wielding the heartstone, risking his own life, or release its power, knowing the consequences could change the course of history forever. The Magic Inn is a tale of courage, sacrifice, and the battle between light and darkness. It explores the themes of friendship, duty, and the weight of responsibility, with an unforgettable cast of characters facing a world on the brink of destruction.

Shocking! My Rugged Husband is the Hidden Tycoon in the 70s Novel

Shocking! The rough husband is the hidden master in the time-travel novel. She is the sacrificial victim for the male lead's pursuit of true love, the pitiful person who transforms grief and indignation into motivation, the obsessive person who constantly wants to slap the male lead's face with money, the lemon essence contrasting the female lead’s gentleness and generosity. Xu Qinghuan: Emma, is this talking about me? Xu Qinghuan transmigrated into a book, into a time-travel novel written by her best friend, where her father died early, her mother remarried, and she was raised in her second uncle's home since childhood. Her cousin and fiancé are entangled? "Break off the engagement, whoever wants the central air conditioner can take it!" Her biological mother manipulates her with work? Isn't it just going to the countryside? The Great Northeast's black land is fertile, where every year you can lie on the heated kang and eat for half the year. Which corporate slave wouldn’t love it? Most importantly, there is a big shot she wants to cling to. Jiang Xingye is someone that even the male lead admires, the future global richest man, the hidden master in the book. After going to the countryside, Xu Qinghuan goes straight to Jiang Xingye. Her original plan was to be a little follower for the big shot and never thought of developing an inappropriate relationship with him. When the man gruffly raises his eyebrows and coaxingly tells her to hold on a little longer, she only wants to ask: What about being wealthy and detached? What about having a strong career ambition and no time for romance? What about being a 007 workaholic who doesn’t even return home?

Tell me some Boone NC ghost stories.
Another Boone NC ghost story involves a particular stretch of road. Drivers at night have reported seeing a mysterious woman in white on the side of the road. As they get closer, she seems to disappear. Some believe she was a young woman who died in an accident on that road long ago, and her spirit lingers there, perhaps waiting for someone or something.

Are Boone NC ghost stories based on real events?
As for the woman in white on the road, it's hard to say. There could have been real accidents on that road in the past, and the story might have been created as a way to warn people to be careful while driving at night. Or it could be completely made up, a product of people's love for spooky tales and the power of suggestion when driving on a lonely road at night.
