Revere The General's Wife

Revere The General's Wife

Forced into a dead end, the Emperor of the North takes a risk. He calls upon the one person whom he had deemed more dangerous than any enemy years ago to partake in this losing war. Awakened after a period of seclusion, the God of War unwillingly finds herself back onto the battlefield, dealing with all the mess they have successfully led the Kingdom into in her absence. All she wants is some peace and quiet and most preferably a good jar of wine. What the God of War gets instead, is the displeasing attention of a certain rumored cold-blooded General. However, to mess with her, he obviously hasn't heard about the temper of the God of War. She would just have to show him, that he isn't the only crazy one here. Already at each other's throat seconds after meeting, the two people are forced to work together in a series of seemingly unrelated events... They call him the Mad Dog of the North, the one person you should never cross. He was long used to the terrified glances or the deeply bowed heads. Then, he met her. With sarcasm dripping from her every word, and a brain so smart that for the first time, he finds himself losing the upper hand, he should have known how incompatible they were. Yet, even the invincible General has times when he falls... And fall, he does, even deeper as he slowly uncovers her past and comes to understand the woman behind her mask. As a different kind of sparks begins to fly between the 2 people, a conspiracy inside the palace also starts to rise. This time, the God of War will have to be sacrificed. However, before that, the General has something to say. 'To dare touch what's mine, I trust you've all prepared your will.'
