Dark Epoch
Kai was just another pro gamer in the neon labyrinth of Tokyo, living a solitary life fueled by energy drinks and the competitive world of the VRMMORPG, Divine Ascension Online. His favorite enemy? Asmudeus, the Black Winged Tyrant—the undefeated, maxed-stat final boss. But when a sudden heart attack rips Kai from his gaming capsule, his life as a student ends, only to begin anew in a terrifying, unfamiliar realm.
He awakens not in a healer's office, but seated upon the Throne of Ash within the Dark Castle, staring at the reflection of a seven-foot-tall being with burning crimson eyes and immense black wings. Kai has been transmigrated into the body of the very entity he spent years trying to defeat: Asmudeus. A quick status check confirms his new, absurd reality: Strength, Agility, and Dexterity all capped at 5000, and Mana registered as Infinite.
The Reign of the Tyrant Emperor
Kai quickly learns that this world, Ingrasia, is far grander and more perilous than the game ever suggested. The three continents—Draconia, Hermes, and Arcadia—are the fractured remnants of a planet ruled by the ancient Black Winged Race, a lineage that makes Dragon-Kin look like footnotes. Kai, the gamer, is now the Tyrant Emperor, the last descendant of the Sky Conquerors.
His immediate challenge is managing his court: the Eight Primordials, terrifyingly powerful and unnervingly loyal generals (including Azatoth, the Dark Knight, and Cocytus, the Frost King) who view Kai's silence as a signal for the coming Dark Epoch.
Testing his power, Asmudeus leads a deployment into the human world of Hermes, achieving absolute conquest not through violence, but through the overwhelming psychological pressure of his mere presence. The Elvania Kingdom surrenders in sheer panic, and the Southern Empire buckles beneath a single, casual wave of his infinite Mana, leading to the instantaneous, silent demise of hundreds of soldiers.
The Blurring Line
The external war is against the Forces of Light: the remnants of the ancient, extinct Angel Race, who are working in secret to raise a Heroic Lineage in the pious continent of Arcadia. But Kai’s greater battle is internal. The ego of Asmudeus—cold, demanding, and dangerously satisfied by absolute power—is rapidly consuming his human core. The power that saved him is also reshaping him into the monster he was programmed to be.
As Kai deploys his Primordials to launch surgical strikes and commands the subjugated humans to gather intelligence, he must navigate a political and spiritual war, all while desperately seeking a strategic advantage that will preserve his survival—and perhaps the last sliver of his humanity—before the Tyrant Emperor fully takes the throne of his mind.
