Jackson comes from a line of trumpets and other horn players. He was expected to join Marching Band as did his older brother Chase. He signed up and prepared for the first day of practice. On the first day of band camp, no one expected to be worked so hard in their life. Danny joined the Drumline and marched the second bass. Jackson played trumpet.
