A young boy accidentally got into some trouble with a mob boss and in his efforts to stay alive he has to work off his debt of 500k. Little did the young boy know, his situation with the mob was just the beginning.

Carnivorous Humans, basically vampires and similar creatures, have existed for about as long as humans have. However the two have never gotten along. About 50 years ago society changed however with the discovery of artificial substitutes for human biomass. This strange substances made it possible for such beings to get along with humans with little issue. Its been about a generation since this occurrence and the recently fully grown Iris, one of these Carnivorous Humans, finds herself being whisked away to what can only be described as the past each night only to return the next day. Will she ever figure out why or just end up burning out? (To help sort out the story's plot and fix standing grammar and word structure issues the story is paused until November 5th. I find myself not really agreeing with whatever I write and rather not worsen the story by throwing junk into it)
