Noah had worked his whole life to provide for his ‘family’ until his dying day when he discovered that they were never really his…then his best friend and business partner along with his wife and ‘son’ had upped sticks and fucked off with all his money and left him penny-less with no way to afford the life saving medicine that was so easily attainable just days before. The police have told him that they have no idea where they went, the insurance company has told him they can’t pay him until they have completed they’re investigation by which point he’ll be dead. And to top it all off that he had to give up his bed for a paying patient. Almost laughing at how his life had turned out in this new era, where he trod down his dreams to provide for his ‘family’ instead of chasing adventure in space and potentially evolving with a lucky encounter in the limitless worlds that were the major discovery of the new era. But no. He gave it all up to take responsibility. And to ‘do the right thing’. Well fuck that noise. In front of all the deliverers of his bad news he ripped out all the needles slipped on some shoes and jumped out the open window. Follow Noah as he wakes up in his younger body and takes advantage of all his knowledge of the next 40 years whilst only looking out for number one and a friend he lost too soon. *first time writer, just a fan of the genre and thought I’d give it a go. No shits given if you don’t like it. Many shits given if you love it ;) Open to constructive criticism but let’s keep it PG. *basically it starts off as a reincarnation, what would you do differently sort of novel which will grow into a sci-fi space and new world adventure in later chapters. *might add some romance/r18 down the line if I get that far

(This novel is based on Malay's myth of Dragon Tasek Chini) One day, a village girl in her 20s wanted to go to the big city alone by grabbing a taxi. Because of her naivety and clueness of real world, she almost got assaulted by the taxi driver, who parked his taxi beside an abandoned lake. But before anything happened, the girl saw a very old lady with a black stick standing right behind the assaulter and in a seconds, the old lady hit the assaulter very hard on his head until he was unconscious. Seem like he would not wake up anytime sooner. The old lady smiled and asked her to call the police. When the girl grabbed her phone, she noticed the old lady suddenly disappeared without any trace. After that experience, the girl really is confused of the appearance of the old lady. She would always come to the lake to search the old lady to thank her, but the people who lived nearby said they did not know any old lady or anyone's grandmother based on her descriptions. Some did say the girl might hallucinate or even claimed she met a ghost. But for the girl, she's really sure she was very conscious that time as she was struggling with the assaulter and also during that happened, it was in bright day! It is unlikely a ghost. But then a strange old guy who was the eldest in the nearby village said the old lady she found is a dragon who lived there for decades or even more years. The villagers denied as the old guy factfully having brain problem, but the girl still remember his words over time. Her search was bound to be failed then one day the old lady came to her dream. But this time the old lady seemed reverse her body from old to young and younger until they were at the same age. The girl looked at the old lady and found out that the old lady has almost the same look as her, but different a bit in some face spots. Then the old lady came nearer to her and whispered, "Mom". "What?" The girl immediately wake up. She knew she heard something but she could not recall what was it. After that dream, one by one mystery things happened to the girl. Will the girl successfully reveal the old lady's identity and what's with her dream? Also every year, the lake was being revealed to have few people met a huge dragon in the lake. Some claimed they saw a golden dragon but some others claimed too it's a silver dragon. End up everyone made their own theories. P/s: This is just a novel I made based on female lead's experience. Yes as usual the fl is a fake person so never once everything I wrote here happened to someone. Just enjoy the novel.
