Agonia
There are times when dark thoughts and fears, often thought of as "devils," linger in the mind. These devils whisper negativity, filling one with anxiety and self-doubt. For years, the struggle to silence them feels relentless, a constant battle to push them away.
Then one day, the devils go quiet. At first, there's relief, but soon an unsettling emptiness takes hold. The absence of the devils feels strange, as if something vital is missing. This leads to a sense of being lost, searching within for the source of this void.
Upon reflection, a surprising thought emerges: what if these devils are not just tormentors but parts of oneself? What if, in some twisted way, they are trying to communicate something deeper?
These dark thoughts and fears might be manifestations of personal pain and unresolved issues. By hating and trying to destroy these parts of oneself, suffering only perpetuates.
Gradually, a new perspective develops. Instead of battling these inner demons, the goal shifts to understanding them. It becomes clear that these devils, much like personal pain, are seeking acknowledgment and healing.
In this journey of self-discovery, accepting and integrating these parts of oneself begins to fill the void. It isn’t easy, and it takes time, but slowly, the realization dawns that the key to peace lies not in fighting inner devils but in embracing and healing them.
