Calvaria
An orphaned fifteen-year-old boy by the name of Kyle Matter was once a normal boy — just unfortunate enough to end up being the only kid in his orphanage who was never adopted. Now, all grown up, he was only a few years away from being put out on the streets to learn and survive on his own.
Kyle was a good person who loved to help his orphanage siblings with whatever troubles they faced. But being good never did him much justice, especially in the place he called home. Kyle was abused and tormented by almost everyone who worked there. He went through life doing hard labor, and if he ever failed, he would receive a punishment no one should ever suffer.
His life seemed to get worse by the second, yet through it all, he remained hopeful and smiling. That hope was tested when an incident at school got him caught in a fight. He was suspended — and the punishment he faced upon returning home was far worse.
Kyle was sent into solitary confinement, all alone and hungry. Death seemed to be the only way out.
But… life has its own way of doing things.
On that fateful night, something happened to Kyle — something out of the ordinary and inhuman. A floating flaming skull appeared before him… and bit him.
That single act transformed and changed him into something only the night sky could know. Now, Kyle discovers a whole secret shadow world — one hidden behind the veil of night. He becomes entangled in a war between the demonic creatures known as Psycho Eaters — monsters that devour humans — and the Wardens, an enigmatic order of warriors who protect humanity from these horrors.
Since Kyle inherited the skull known as the Calvaria, a supernatural deity and punisher of the Psycho Eaters, he is now forced to join the Wardens and take part in their war. As the new Punisher, Kyle begins to awaken his own supernatural powers and abilities.
But the path ahead is dark. Kyle not only faces the Psycho Eaters but also the Wardens and other powerful organizations that seek the Calvaria for themselves. Along the way, he is met with resentment, betrayal, and haunting truths.
He must uncover the answers to the questions that define his destiny:
Who is he really? What is the Calvaria truly? Why did it choose him? And what role must he play in the fate of this hidden world?
