Let me introduce myself. My name is Michael Smith, I am 53 years old, I was once a proffesor at the George J. Wright High School, I retired 5 years ago, I was teaching history, It seems like some students celebrated my retirement, but no wonder, I was kinda rough with them, Most of them have failed my classes, someone was trying to appeal to me for a grade, but at that time I thought it wasn't fair for the others. I do not remember their names for some reason.
"Can you please tell me, how you failed, again?"
"I'm sorry Mr. Smith but you know I missed all your classes, I had some real problems and I just couldn't study at all..." he said with a sad face
"Yeah? What problems could you have at your age ?"
"Mr. Smith you think that teenagers don't have problems?"
"Kind of, what you can do anything else than study at your age, huh? I mean history is more important than some games."
"It wasn't about some GAMES, it is a personal problem. My mom and dad have divorced. That's why I couldn't study, but I think history is more important than my family, Mr. Smith."
"Uh,, I'm..."
"Look Mr. Smith, Can you please let this slide? I will repeat the year if I fail your class too, please."
"I'm sorry but this... This won't be fair for the others, at school you have some responsibilities, we don't have anything to do with your problems, I'm really sorry about what happend. Now go."
I felt like a garbage after that. I had to tell my wife that, and tell me if I did the wrong thing or not.
"Soo, you let a kid fail his classes after his mother and father divorced"
"Yeah... I feel like trash."
"Why?.. because that's your job?"
"Huh?"
"If you don't like to dump kids just quit already."
I was thinking at those words, over and over and over... Maybe the teaching wasn't for me, maybe I should have sticked to my childhood dream, to become a basketball player.
"Oh, honey I won't be home for like a week or two."
"What, why?"
"I have to visit my mother in London"
"Ugh... Why you moved in USA then."
"Because you were my dream, because I wanted to start a family with you."
"Fine, but travel safely, ok?"
"I will hon."
When I was in the plane, I was only thinking about how awful I was as a teacher. I think they hated me a lot if they made a book called "Death Note" and wrote my name all over the book, "Michael Smith, dying of cancer", "Michael Smith, drowned".
But when I finally arrived, I tried to call my mother.
"Huh, strange, she usually picks up, what happend?..."
But when I arrived... She was dead.
She died of diabetes, a disease I didn't even know, I was thinking... Why mother? Why you kept this all for yourself? You were scared? I would have get a second job, just to keep you alive, so why didn't you tell me? why did you smiled at me, knowing about your disease?
But what IT BOTHERS ME THE MOST IS
"WHY DID YOU GIVE ME 50 000 $ MOTHER? WHY YOU TOLD ME IT WAS FROM SELLING YOUR NOVEL?"
I was crying so badly that I wanted to kill myself to see her again, to hug her and say how much I love her.
5 years after that. 15 December 2022
I came earlier home, and I caught my wife with another man...
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
"What does it looks like?"
"ARE YOU KIDDING RIGHT NOW WANDA?"
"No... why would I?"
That guy tried to get past me, but I grabbed him.
"WHERE ARE YOU GOING, YOU PRICK?" I shouted as hard as I could "I'LL KILL YOU."
But then my wife pulled me, and that guy escaped
"Michael... I want to tell you something... Don't EVER try to get near me, or I'll tell everyone that you raped me, and you'll get jailed up, got it?"
She left with that guy, and I started drinking since then, 15 December 2022 till 15 January 2023, when I saw those messages I saw my final goal..."
I WILL FIND OUT WHO THIS GUY IS.
I'll pay the high school a visit tomorrow, maybe the kids won't be happy to see me but I can't help it.
