Chapter 2: REALLY
The silence took over the conversation that night, she was dumbfounded at his persistence, the truth was she liked him, rather a feeling inside her shouted aloud "he's the one..go for him..marry him..love him..have kids..be one forever.." but pragmatism said "stay firm, all men are the same..you'd end up loosing your heart and then an abyss would engulf you for sure".
"hayaat..you there..helllloo...hayaaat..."
"ohkay.."
"whhhhaaattt...."
"I...am...in..."
"really..."
"yea..but..I cannot love you...or marry you..and I hate kids..and..."
"shuuuuhhhhhssshhhh..."
It was a summer breeze then..warm and soothing...so were the two hearts who were blossoming.
"vaasu...please...how could you be so rigid.. I..cannot..." and she broke into tears, the cold wind was now piercing through her body, her voice choked, she withered upon the floor and cried her heart out. The phone lied beside her silent like she was.
"Brrrrr..brrrr...brrrrrr...vaasu calling..." the automated machine reminded Hayaat, it was 2am and she was sleeping soundly with dreams being her confidante.
"Hlllllo..." she said in a husky voice..
"Where were you baiiby..."
"sleeping.."
"haayaaat..." his manner of trailing her name, aroused and titillated her simultaneously.

"I got so scared...I have been trying to reach you from past two hours...did u even checked the miss calls.."

"you didn't picked the call..."

"You were on a night shift.."
"It breaks at 12"

"by hugging the pillow.."

That night entwined two lovers on either side of the call, this night was slowly taking away the remnant hope from her soul..
