Chapter 3: CH.3 The Meeting
-10 Years Later-
It's been 10 since Shiro started his soul training and It's indeed the hardest training out of all of them since the soul itself is the core of every living thing, the soul is immortal so long as it didn't get destroyed. People could reincarnate over and over again thus creating the cycle of life. What makes it so hard to improve the soul is the understanding of different laws of nature. Shiro himself didn't completely comprehend these laws except for the innate ability he has. Thus making his soul several times stronger than the average human.
Shiro is sitting under a tree with two beautiful women one with pink-white hair and yellow shaded eyes, and the other with platinum hair and grey eyes.
By the 5th year, his soul got stronger by a lot and started training his physical and magical prowess. Also, he gets new companions when it's the 8th year and they had been with him ever since.
-During the 8th Year-
Shiro's meditating trying to increase his magical prowess when suddenly he felt several presences closing his location. He felt that something was wrong and decided to check it out. When he arrived there he saw several golems like creature capturing a white cat and white wolf. He then saw that they're going to torture and kill the poor animals, seeing this scene Shiro's face went dark and dark aura was surrounding him, he recalled when he was tortured and got mad at the golem-like creature.
He then charged at the golems and destroyed them and saving the barely conscious cat and wolf. The last thing they saw is a weird creature similar to a golem yet he had emotion from what they saw when he was saving them. Feeling power drained from their bodies they fell unconscious. He saw them and felt strong magical potential from each of their bodies. He decided that he would take care of them and help them as they went through similar events as he did.
-A few hours later in Shiro's hut-
( You should've known there's no way he's living without a roof right.)
[??? POV]
My name is Otonashi Ichie I'm from the Snowcat tribe and my friend Yukishiro Akira is from the snow wolf tribe, Our clan is peaceful and harmonic, we help each other and was living happily until that demon came. At first, both clans welcome the demon but when we reject his request to band together and kill the beast of snow, he orders his golems to attack us. Our clan isn't good at fighting so we quickly got destroyed only a few survivors managed to escape the rest? Their fate didn't end well they got bend several different ways before they're killed. The few survivors scatter and hope that they could survive while I and Akira were able to run but not for long.
Exactly 5 days after we escaped the golems found us and chased us, left with no option we decided to run toward the snow beast domain. We hope that nothing is gonna happen to us after all if one path is death and the other is uncertainty it's better to choose the latter over the former right? We ran and ran till we exhausted when we feel our hope is lost a blur killed all the golems and hold us. His hold is gentle wanting me to sleep in his embrace before I sleep I saw a face like no beast but it felt more humane? I don't know why but that term comes to my head and it fits well with that being. I was exhausted and then fell unconscious.
[POV end]
In a small hut there's a cat and a wolf sleeping soundly on a small pillow made by Shiro for them, Then a small movement was heard as the cat was opening her eyes, she looked around and felt panicked a little bit when she felt that she was fine and looked around to find Akira sleeping on another pillow she was relieved. She then shakes Akira's body to wake her up. Feeling the nudge from Ichie, Akira wakes up.
They both then started talking,
"Why do you wake me up Ichie?" Akira asked while rubbing her eyes using her paw.
"Do you not remember Aki, we got cornered by the golems ?" Ichie replied to her.
"Ah right," Akira then looked around in a panic, trying to look for any sign of enemies.
"Don't worry we're saved by someone," Ichie said.
"Who ?" She asked
When Ichie about to answer they suddenly smelt a nice fragrant and went toward it. There they found a weird creature standing on two legs who does the cooking, he then notices them and smiled at them.
"Ahh, so you guys are awake. Here come and enjoy the food." He pointed towards two bowls with food inside them. Ichie and Akira look at each other and nodded. They all then went and eat together.
Ichie and Akira were happy as the food is the tastiest food they ever tasted. Shiro was looking at their satisfied expression with content as he lacks company from all these years of training.
After finished eating and cleaning the dish Shiro went towards them and asked, "So care to tell me your name? I'm Shiro by the way."
Akira hesitated but Ichie answered for her, "My name is Otonashi Ichie and she's Yukishiro Akira."
"Hmm, So Ichie and Akira then, can you tell me about what happened from what I can see you guys are running away from the golems. I may be able to help you guys." Shiro said while shrugging.
They both hesitated and Shiro said, "It's fine if you didn't want to tell me but if you wanted to you know where to find me." Shiro said as he pointed towards the tree outside the hut. He then leaves the hut and went towards the tree to continue his meditation.
"Should we tell him ?" Akira asked,
"I think we should, after all, he's the beast he could help us to achieve revenge," Ichie replied.
"I hope he will help us," Akira said looking a little downcast that the once populated snowcat and snow wolf tribe got reduced to only them.
"I hope so too Nya~," Ichie said looking at Shiro meditating under the tree.
