Chapter 13: CHAPTER 13
As Issei and the others left to do the common devil job, getting people to sign up contracts.
Tetsuya was asked to stay behind, as a 'human' he couldn't do that sort of thing - yet - so instead, he decided to use this time to train.
A few days passed and some unexpected things happened, his parents decided to leave the country for some reason, and they got him permission to live on his own, they would be sending money to him from now own every month, and they refused to tell him what was going on, all he knew was that they would be living in Greece from now on.

"Yup, that's correct, we will be moving to Greece, but you can stay here and you don't have to worry about money," said Shikamaru, Tetsuya's father.
"Yeah, dear, you don't have to worry about us, but I hope you won't forget what I always tell you about girls, as I said, I won't take care of any grandchildren before you graduate," said Chiyoko, Tetsuya's Mother.

The memory of the two leaving the house with a smile on their faces still played on his mind from time to time, he would like to say that this was unexpected, but they always liked to go away and leave him alone for some time, and now that he is seventeen, they may have decided that it was time to let him live on his own.
Other than that he was still stuck trying to understand how to use cosmo energy.
The reason he was trying to do that at least was that what Akeno tried to teach him wasn't helping. So he was trying to discover if his powers truly came from Saint Seiya, but it was extremely difficult!
Right now he could tell that he is stronger than he was before being revived, but he still couldn't feel his cosmo, nor destroy the atoms of any object.
He did however discovered somethings, for instance, he somehow learned how to speak every language, he could speak, read, and write any language as if he had studied them for decades.
The visions also stopped now they are becoming like short movies on his head when he sleeps, about the life of someone he knows nothing about.
Still, the memories don't have anything supernatural to them, it just feels like a super historically precise movie of the daily life of a man who lived in a time where you cleaned your ass with anything in sight.
At the moment, Tetsuya's heavy panting could be heard across the forest as he coldly punched the innocent trees using any possible means he could think of to try and awake his cosmos.
The trees could only lament for their weakness and do their best to injury his hand as some sort of retribution, unfortunately for them, Tetsuya's hand had the toughness of iron, they wouldn't hurt as much as real iron, but it would take more than a hard surface to injury them with him using that level of strength.
"Again!" Rias wearing her sports suit shouted as he restarted his sets of movements against the poor tree.
"Aaaagh!" Enraged with his failure, Tetsuya concentrated all his strength on his left hand and punched right through the tree, opening a hole the size of a closed fist on it.
This time, the tree managed to get its revenge, it finally managed to make his hand bleed.
Seeing how frustrated he was, Rias approached him from behind and hugged him.
"You don't have to force yourself so much, Tetsuya." Rias's cheeks became slightly red as she spoke, she got used to saying his name without any honorific when they were alone.
Feeling her breasts touching his back, Tetsuya allowed himself once to release all that tension he had build up in a week of training, but the anger, and feeling of powerlessness continue within him, whispering in his ears that he was a failure, that the day of his death was approaching and that he wasn't even worthy as a domestic slave.
Clenching his teeth he turned to look at Rias, seeing those sad, but lovable eyes, made his heart hurt. Why, why was he so useless, he wanted so much to be worthy of a girl like her, he trained all his life just for that... so why? Where is the mistake?
"Rias... I'm so useless! How can I be worthy of you if I can't even-"
TAP!
Tetsuya opened his eyes wide, feeling the hot sensation on his left cheek, he looked at Rias in the eyes and saw her glaring at him with anger in her eyes.
"Never, and I repeat, never say that you are not worthy of me." She hugged him, and kissed him on the cheek. "You are powerful Tetsuya, even if you can't control that power yet, doesn't mean you'll never be able to do it, I chose to revive you because..." She paused for a moment and a second later continued. "Because I know of your potential, I never doubted you are capable of great things, so have more faith in you, Tetsuya, the same faith I have in you."
Her hug became tighter, and Tetsuya felt like crying for the first time in years.
He just remembered that ever since reincarnating he never met any real wall, wasn't it easy to be the best of the class? Wasn't it easy to train and control his actions to cultivate a powerful body just for this moment? Wasn't it easy to always be one step ahead of the others?
He got complacent, too arrogant with his success, after all, be it his studies, his training, his... romantic life... they were all being so successful, that he forgot what it was like to fail.
He forgot that he wasn't a god capable of doing anything. Rias was right, he was forcing himself too much, so what if Issei learned to use his powers early than him? So what if he has yet to learn how to make the best of himself as a weapon?
Patience, focus, determination, and faith... he got so focused on his success, that those qualities his Shishou taught him were forgotten.
He hugged Rias back, the tension on his muscles left his body. "Thanks, Rias."
She smiled and took his hand.
"Let's go."
"Eh? Where?"
"You need to relax a little, don't worry, it will be like the dates from the good old days." Rias stuck out her tongue, the corners of her mouth raised in a small smile.
