[Must Read!] Cautionary Advice (Read First!)
Rereading my story and looking at its outline so far, its gonna be hella long, and slow when it comes to pacing. I'm expecting this to reach two a hundred and fifty chapters up to even more than two hundred until completion.
The main character won't be the usual weak willed main character but he will still have flaws and a troubling past before reincarnation. He's power hungry and selfish too, all he thinks about is getting stronger and I made him that way so that the world and people around him will slowly change him for the better. He is strong but not overpowered, not a pushover, a kind of weak to strong development.
If you don't like that mc then this is not the book for you. Please kindly drop this and find another book if so.
The book gives importance to all introduced characters as I plan to develop most of them and make them serve their purpose. There won't be any OC's except for the MC until I need some sort of new side character for plot purposes.
Story wise, the plot will not be the usual "Oh I will go to shrek etc etc."
"Oh things will happen exactly according to the original plot because man my MC may be wrecking people left and right due to how overpowered he is. He may kill important enemies but the plot will still proceed as usual."
Yeah no, butterfly effects exist and I dislike following the original plot of the series. I tore down the original plot and started making an outline for a new one.
Story is set in Douluo Dalu 1, 3-4 ish years before Tang San awakens his martial soul and starts his journey. Basically the mc will be in the same age group as Dai Mubai. First volume focuses on the Mc stuck in some place then the 2nd volume he'll start his plans. By the 3rd volume is where things start to pick up pace.
Since there's like four douluo dalu books so far, things are bound to be colorful since I kinda read almost all of em with the exception of book 2 and book 4. Further supplemented by wiki knowledge cause I procrastinated a lot back then.
As for romance this will be harem. Wait don't leave yet! :/
I've been reading so many books so far on this platform and I like harem. But most harem's here are really really boring and uninteresting. And the typical mc doesn't really care about his harem members.
Only focused on collecting girls then visiting them if horny and stuff or if the plot needs them. My disappointment is immense.
Save this girl, she gets her panties into a wet twist and throws herself at the Mc. Rinse and repeat but with different variations in terms of meeting, saving and stuff then do r 18 thingies together. Declare the man's other girls and mistresses as sisters.
So fast... I mean, where's the jealousy? Where's the harem infighting/competitiveness against each other? Women are proud and strange creatures, their brain works weird but they don't just accept each other as sisters right off the bat and share a man! There's bound to be resistance!
Its like the women lose their souls and minds and get brainwashed or something.
Since the mc is selfish and power hungry, romance will develop slowly alongside his character and when the harem members meet each other that's bound to be interesting.
Its fiction, but it has to have some degree of realism onto it right?
To sum it up, a slow paced novel focused on character development, growth and a new plot unlike the original douluo dalu. Girls won't fall for the mc as fast as my grades do and they won't be useless sheep.
Updates vary, I usually can release 1 chapter a day depending on whether my school is feeling sadistic or if I'm sick. I easily get sick.
I'm not an expert writer, but I'll try my best to make something decent and readable.
