Chapter 1: 1: The beginning.
boom!!
the sound of thunder was heard outside..
it was a dark and stormy night in the city of New York.
yet somewhere inside a small apartment building, a 19 year old young man could be seen seated in front of his computer.
on his screen was "Hogwarts legacy, downloading"
this was the latest Harry Potter game that had just come out, Leylin was excited to play the game.
especially since he loved Harry Potter, and the fact that they came out with a 3-d open world game for the book series nearly sent a shock of excitement through his soul.
he could almost soar towards heaven at this moment.
Leylin looked expectantly at his screen, although he had been unrealistically pacing around his room for nearly a couple hours just to download the game, he felt like it was all worth it.
this was the only exciting thing in life to him, the Harry Potter and the wizarding world.
Leylin was a tall young man with long blonde hair, he was pretty handsome, but he usually kept to himself so he had a hard time making friends even in highschool.
but to Leylin, none of that mattered, he was always living by the idea that he wouldn't see any of those idiots in the near future anyways.
leylin's eyes flew wide open in excitement before landing on his computer screen, he was fighting all the urge of sleepiness and held his eyelids open with all his might.
the game had actually been officially released today, but due to some circumstances he had only managed to buy it tonight.
"it's done" Leylin said in excitement, nearly jumping out of his seat.
but his excitement didn't last long, his screen began flashing black and white the moment the game finished downloading.
coupled with the loud roars of thunder outside his window, the scene was very eerie in the dark room which was barely lit.
a pop up screen appeared on Leylin's screen.
"do you wish to enter the wizarding world? and become a wizard?" the pop up screen asked.
there was a yes and no option.
Leylin thought it was a virus he had gained on his computer previously and clicked "no".
yet no matter how many times he clicked the option nothing would happen.
he was on the verge of raging and started clicking everything, he ended up clicking the "yes" option.
The pop-up disappeared and was replaced by another pop-up screen.
"you will now be transported to the wizarding world, good luck...host" the words faded away nearly instantly.
Leylin was in utter confusion, he couldn't help but curse out loud when he noticed his screen go black once again.
"What the Fu-" before Leylin could finish his words.
one loud bolt of thunder struck into his house before his vision turned blurry and he was unconscious, fading away from the earth forever.

in a brand new world.
a world full of magic and mystical creatures.
the mild winter breeze blew across the city of London.
although it was getting dark, the city was well lit and many pedestrians could be seen walking around the city, like any usual day.
inside the room of a small private house.
Leylin could be seeing lying down on the bed, completely knocked out.
after a few minutes.
Leylin struggled to open his eyes before looking around at the new environment.
this place felt familiar to him, yet so unfamiliar at the same time.
"t-thats right, the game" Leylin thought while sitting up, but after feeling a splitting pain in his head he decided to lay back down on his bed.
"holy sh*t my head hurts" Leylin cursed in pain, he was even sweating profusely due to the pain.
Tons of memories soon flooded his mind within an instant.
Leylin finally realized something... he wasn't in his old world anymore?
in fact he was still on earth, but... in London?
Leylin was confused, his mind wandered before he remembered the scene before he passed out.
"would you like to enter the wizarding world" Leylin mumbled under his breathe before looking around.
"wait- and I'm in London?" Leylin became shocked and surprised, the whole situation came at him like a huge meteor.
although he would be excited about his situation, he didn't know what to think currently or how to feel.
one day he was sitting in his house on earth, the next day he is in London, and he could only hesitatingly guess that this was possibly the world of Harry Potter.
Leylin was a reader of webnovels and fanfictions, so he was used to the idea of transmigration and that sort of stuff.
but it definitely felt weird when something like that happened to you for real.
Leylin sat on the clean bed for a while, trying to desperately get his mind together, his heart was beating way too fast, he needed to calm down.
"maybe I'm just tripping, I should get some information first" Leylin thought after calming down his thoughts, although he still felt slightly dizzy.
turning on the small desktop computer in his room, his eyes widened in shock when he noticed the date.
"August 23, 1991" Leylin read the date slowly in shock, as if his mind couldn't process what he was reading.
he finally realized why his room and everything in it looked like it was from the 90s.
