Chapter 1: System
"Whe-where am I?" An eighteen years old boy asks the moment he opens his eyes and looks around.
The boy was lying on the grasses with tall trees all around him, he could hear birds chirping and noises from various other animals.
He stood up and dusted his clothes which were light nightwear, after doing that he began to look around his environment with a mixed expression on his pale face.
His pair of white Iris shone brightly as he looked around, it was supposed to be morning if he was to calculate the hours he had slept but looking around, it was still a bit dark.
"What I'm doing here? Am I not supposed to be in my bedroom? So what the hell am I doing in a forest?"
The boy kept talking to himself not knowing that there were two pairs of red glowing eyes gazing at him from behind the numerous tall trees.
After concluding, he decided to leave the place he was standing with fear of getting attacked by anything so he began to make his way towards the South.
Meanwhile, the strange figure with the glowing eyes watched as the boy began to walk away and went back into the place it was hiding and then a second later it came out again alongside another figure of its kind.
The two figures then emerged out of the back of the trees they were hiding and began to follow the boy who was unaware of what was happening.
The boy kept looking around for any danger but yet didn't know he was being followed.

"How do I know am going to the right place? The paths I take seems to be endless because I've been walking for an hour now and I haven't gotten to any better place with less tress, these dense trees and grasses are giving me a creeping sigh and I do not like it even for a sec." The boy mumbled under his breath as he supported his body on a large tree.
He had been walking for hours non-stop and he was already getting tired, the more he walked, the more the paths seems to be endless and denser and was exceptionally quiet. These alone was enough to make him feel sick and afraid.
Just as he was about to stand properly, he heard some noises behind the grasses.
"Wh-who is there? Talk or I might end up killing you!" He said with his heart beating at a pace no one could understand, he was good with using his mouth but certainly not with his fist so all he said was just some random talks...there was nothing he could do.
"I said who is there?" He asked again as he wasn't seeing anything. 'This is driving me crazy, am I going to die today? has my end finally come? I refuse to accept that!' He kept mumbling incoherent words while turning around in circles and his hands set in a fighting way.
"If you don't come out by the count of three, I will kill you"

"Since you don't want to come out don't blame me for being heart.....Ahhhh"
The boy didn't finish talking before the two strange figures came out of their hiding place.
The boy seeing them screened so loudly that his throat began to ache but that wasn't the problem as he had a more death pressing issue at the moment.
The figures were not a sight to behold. They had no head but a skull with red glowing eyes, their two legs were faced upwards while their back downwards with the other two legs. They had long canines protruding out of their mouths and their tongues out dripping with thick black drools.
The boy seeing this almost had his heart jump out of his chest, all his life he had never seen anything look like this, not even in the books.
He started moving backwards until he noticed there was nothing behind him and then like a flash he began to run.
Out of curiosity, he turned to check the two figures and he could not help but let out a sudden scream. "How are those ugly things still able to run so fast despite on only two legs, dammit!"
He was a fast runner thanks to his aunt who forced him to join sports in school even though he was stubborn at first, but that didn't help at all as the two figures were also fast and agile.
After running for a long time he was becoming tired and thus his speed began to drop, the two figures were catching up on him drastically.
His mind became hazy as he began to imagine them tearing and eating his skin and even drinking his blood, he dreaded those moments and hoped so hard for a miracle to happen.
Soon, he came across a tree and decided to climb it as it was the only option he had because of how tired he was to continue the running.
He quickly climbed the tree but unfortunately, the figures were also good at climbing and so they followed him.
As he tried so hard to climb to the higher paths of the tree, the branch he was holding broke and following the broken branch, he fell to the ground with a loud bang as if that was not all, the two figures jumped as well ready to ponce on him when suddenly his eyes shut tight.

"Ahhh, my head hurts so badly"
The boy tries to open his eyes but the sudden pain from his head made it impossible. He then decided to open them gradually and when his eyes were finally opened, he looked around him.
"What!" He shouted as he stared at the two figures that were lying dead at his both sides, "How are they dead? If I can rem....ahhhhh! I can't remember what happened to me before now"
The boy tried to remember what happened but he couldn't and when he pushes hard to remember, the pains will appear again and again.
"If I can't remember what happened, fine. But at least I want to know how these two ugly things were killed," the boy had a deep frown on his face with knitted brows, he couldn't remember anything and also wanted to know how the strange figures were killed but he wasn't getting any answer.
*Ding*
While he was still lost in thought, a transparent blue wall appeared in his front.
"Good morning Master, you have been sleeping for 24 hours. I almost thought I lost you, it's quite a relief to see you alive, safe and sound or I wouldn't have known what to tell the Origin" A voice spoke in his head.
For a minute the boy stayed at one spot not moving, not blinking his eyes. He was in a state of shock.
"Master are you there? why are you not blinking? Is your brain still functioning?" the voice asked in a state of alarm.
"It's your brain that isn't functioning" the boy retorted without blinking. After some time, he blinked 10 tens and began to clean his eyes with the back of his hands with the hope of not seeing the transparent wall but even after doing that, the wall was still there.
"Am I dreaming? Why do I keep seeing strange things in this place?"
"No master, You are not dreaming and it is also normal to see strange things here because the world you are in is indeed a strange one."
"Strange world? What are you? and why am I seeing a blue transparent wall before me?" The boy asked as he kept staring at the blue wall.
"I am your servant. You have been chosen by the Origin to become the ruler of the universe, in other words, to become their God."
"What!! I don't understand everything you said now. Mind repeating what you said and explain as well" The boy's expression was far worse than shock, the information was beyond his imagination.
"Okay, the Origin is the creator of the entire universe, he is the one that rules the two realms; the Mortal and the Immortal realm as well as the Nether world. He has chosen you to become his ruler, in other words, their God."
"Why did he choose me? What can a human with only an eye offer? Explain to me!"
''Even I myself am surprised but what can I do? I am only but a servant to him and you as well, I do not have any say. All I know is that the ways of the Origin are right, whatever he says or do can not be questioned. He has chosen you and I must help you to succeed, it might take years but I will be staying with you until you reach the level of the Gods, then I will leave you to take on that path alone.''
After listening to what the voice had said, the boy was quiet for a long time and then he began to talk again. "Then how will I be strong? Because I need to get strong so as to not disappoint them"
"Yes, you need to get strong and the system will help you with that. About your one eye, do not worry about it, it won't hinder you at all."
"Where you the one that killed these two strange things?" the boy asked as he remembered something.
'No, not me but one of the demigods. They wouldn't want their ruler to be harmed and so they killed them"
"Oh, Can I see them? I need to thank them because if not for them I might have been food to these two ugly things"
''Haha, that is not necessary. You can't see them just yet until you become strong enough but they are seeing you so you don't need to worry."
The boy after hearing what the voice said heaved a sigh, "Alright, then I need to get strong. How does the system work?"
'You can open any bar by thinking about it, try it.'
The boy did as he was told and thought about the stats menu.

"Hey, where should I distribute the five points to? Am quite confused here" Mikel after seeing his stats was finding some terms hard to understand.
After thinking for a while, the voice cleared his throat, "Distribute four of them to strength and Agility.''
Mikel did what he was told to and distributed four points to strength and Agility, two each.
Suddenly he felt an immense surge of power enter into his body. He had never felt so reenergized in his entire life. He looked at his new Power Level:

Mikel was completely stupefied, just by distributing the 4 AP, his Power Level was increased by 40 points. He was feeling happy already by the sudden thought of becoming strong one day.
''Instead of being happy, check your quest bar and see what you have there''
"Oh, that is true." After smiling awkwardly, he thought of the quest bar and it opened.
