Chapter 3: The Unfortunate life of Thomas
This is the world where swords, bows and arrows, magic and machines thrive. There is also ancient monsters and Behemoths and creatures from myths and legends. This is 'Gate 10', a world among many others.
And our poor hero.... is not in this world.
All living beings must go through the worlds, step by step, from 'Gate 1' onwards, it's still unknown how many worlds there are.

And this is the beginning of the journey of little Thomas, who got reincarnated in the body of a 5 years toddler, left to die with a deep wound in the cold and dangerous jungle by his former teammates, but being saved by the process of reincarnation and fully healed, Thomas begins to move carefully across the jungle, and while still afraid of the unknown, happened upon his first encounter after being reincarnated.
A small and cute rabbit, but with a horn that remembers those who see it of a unicorn. Yes, his first encounter was a cute little animal, why should he fear it !? But Thomas failed to notice that this little 'Horned Rabbit' was wounded, so in a fit of fury, the little rabbit who got bullied by a random bunch of kids who passed by just moments before decided to release its pent up frustration on this weakling before it.

In this world where danger lurks at every corner, it's common to find teams of 3 to 5, as it's almost impossible for newborns to be powerful enough to survive by itself, and obviously, no matter the race, there will always those rare geniuses or blessed beings who are born with some advantages, making them powerful beyond normal means.
Which unfortunately isn't the case for Thomas.

"What the!?!?!" Stunned by the fact that he received such a useless and weird mission out of nowhere, Thomas almost got his throat ripped apart by a famished 'Plain's Hunter'. It was a species of panthers and it has been chasing our poor hero for a few days already, with both being starved and desperate, one could only run for his dear life, the other doing everything to have a long-awaited meal.

Unaware that by delaying the mission, our dear Anne was currently throwing a tantrum because she felt ignored by her new-found toy. Yes, she just discovered the main feature of the 'System Manager' after ignoring it for all this while.
