After a supernatural creature is killed it's energy then saturates the body of it's killer further strengthening it and increasing it's natural limit for supernatural energy
I'm gonna use size as a basis to determine the amount of supernatural energy held within the body but only after fighting can you judge the quality of someone else's energy

After the body reaches it's maximum limit to holding energy, the excess is use to clear away 1 of the 8 gates hidden in their body. After the gate is cleared you must form a core in it's place which when fully formed purifies the body, mind and soul and bring the person's bloodline to a higher level

To reach the next stage is power, the person has to collapsed each of their cores and form what would then be called the King's Columns
After this they would step into what's called the King Stage where they can bear the title of king. Most die trying to reach this stage for collapsing a core is deadly and you need to collapse all 8 at once
===={ This is the limit of most beings for to reach the next stage you need to have a pack member for each of your columns but each pack member must be at the same stage as the person trying to break through. This is difficult to see as people who reach this level of strength would rather break off from their packs and create their own kingdoms and sire their own bloodlines====
For those fortunate to ever have the opportunity to reach this stage, they much completely destroy their columns which would in turn destroy their body but this is where the pack would come in. as they must sacrifice a portion of their strength to keep the person undergoing a breakthrough alive long enough for them to undergo a rebirth and condense an Emperors' Crown
Under this rebirth they break away from their previous bloodline before one is gifted to them by the heavens causing them to break way from their mortal bounds
The stage above this is not known as most emperors through out history have been seen to go mad with power and kill any who are close to them in power including the 8 pack members. Nothing is none about what happened to any of the emperors and they have disappeared and are treated as nothing but a myth by anyone nowadays
