I was shameless and immature

I'll admit that I was needy for your love
I haven't been considerate of your state
I was shameless and a liar
For not being completely honest with you
We've been close before
Damn, I miss those childhood memories
But we knew that we're not children anymore
Lack of communication is the only way for us to fall apart

Which only made you hurt more

My love for you was that great
But I have to accept that not everything is forever
We are not meant to be
But we met, to teach each other a lesson
