I'm a martial arts kind of person with my books, and would not usually read this kind but, I admit if you dare to read, you will be hooked.. The plot is too deep. I guess I was kind of annoyed with not getting my martial arts fix, but last weeks chapter killed it! 🙌 it was a martial arts book all along. It just needed time to get there. 😭
Lucy wickshire is one badass lady and I loooove her..you don't wanna cross her else you won't know how you died hehe.. The plot is amazing fill with schemes ,passion ,assassins ,romance..so far am loving every bit of it.. And hungrrrry for more.
Am I the only one that's not okay with this book coming to qidian? I mean, that would mean double posting and she said the ones here would be more edited than the other in royal road. I've got no problem with that an all, as long as it does not affect our daily release on royal road, unedited an all.

Very interesting read. At least read the first 10 or so chapters to test the waters. Characters have depth although its not the best nor is it the worst. Numerous grammatical errors unfortunately, although it should be somewhat easy to puzzle out the real meaning with context.
I have finally caught up with the novel.. Saw it then read it.. Then i could not stop..(hmm) i need more.. Btw.. This novels mc is badass.. I mean ive been around a lot reading novels(eng lit), mangas, manhuas, xinxia and wuxia Ln..watched a lot too..in between when im on my day offs mostly..and id still put this mc on if not my top at least my top3 badass mcs of all time.. Im even tempted to put her above menghao and goku(lol).. Anyways story development is a 5*.. Its fast but not to the point where i forget other essential and key pieces of the story.. And i like that..character design is also 5*..what can i say i love em.. I just wish walter be more hot blooded and less dense.. Nodoby can be that dense and saintly..man when the chick does that and i like her too.. And i have got backing like that.. Damn she wont walk straight the next day(lol pg16).. But i guess that why or what makes walter..walter hahaha..im shipping them by the way and i hope authorsama doesnt murder one of em or both.. I love the relationship between the 2 lords and the lady too.. I have a cousin like that and me and her brother alwys gets in trouble coz of her and the sad part is we dont or cant do anything bout it too.. Hahaha..anywas good job author sama!! And pls tc of your health too.. Its ok if you take a break once in a while..as long as your ok.
I am genuinely surprised by how well thought out this novel is. Despite the fact that the point of view shifts multiple times throughout the novel, it only makes the novel more interesting. I love how Lucy is portrayed as a cold and intelligent child and I can’t wait to read more about her development. I also can’t wait until I get to the romance portion of the novel. (Hopefully there is one 😭) The novel may start off slow in the beginning but once you start you can’t stop. Give the novel a try and see for yourself 😆👍🏼 The only issue I have is that there are some grammatical errors but can be easily overlooked 😁
Ill use the same review i posted onthe Lucy Wickshire facebook page. One of the most awe inspiring female protagonists I have had the chance of encountering. One would not want to be on the receiving end of this girls ire. Each and every character has depth and personality. My favourite male character in this till now is Walter. Bloody hell. After Lucy I think he is the most badass(unless u count her mystery "fiance"). I love Walter.

Though the title says it all about who the protagonist is, I feel that the true lead is Walter because his life has been the one that underwent the most transition. I'm already in Arc 11 and I've been hooked since Arc 3. I love Walter's character and his affinity with Helen. Overall, this is one hell of a book. This is a must read for the ones who want to get away from all the clichés because this is one book that no one can ever ignore once they start reading.
