Chapter 3: Firearms
"I choose to reincarnate!" said Gunnar firmly.
The old man nodded once hearing what Gunnar chose. "Very well, you'll be reincarnated"
He raises his right hand and white glow start to radiate from his palm.
"Wait…wait… wait a moment, I want to ask something first" Gunnar stopping the old man hurriedly.
The old man lowering his hand, the white light dimmed and finally disappears.
"Alright, what do you want to ask? Said the old man.
"I want to know what kind of world that will be my second life. You said it's different with my previous world before"
"It is a world of weapon. A place, where people hone their skill in weapon mastery. In order to survive, people must have skill in handling weapon"
A shiver suddenly rushing in Gunnar's back.' I almost send to dangerous world without knowing anything!' that's what Gunnar thought.
"Can you grant me skill to handling weapon so I can survive?" ask Gunnar.
"Sure, what kind of weapon you want to mastery?"
"Really? I can have skill to mastery any weapon that I choose?"
"Yes, that's for sure"
"Why don't you tell me before?"
"Well, you don't ask"
" ...…. "
Gunnar almost choked hearing the answer. I'm not asking, you not telling. I'm not asking, you not giving. And you still called yourself Guardian. Damn you!
"So, what kind of weapon you will choose?"
"Can I choose any weapon I like?
"Sure, what is it?"
"Can I choose pistol?"
"Sure, you can. But are you really choose pistol?"
Gunnar hesitates to answer. His brain is working hard to thinking. If I choose pistol, what if there's other people who mastering rifle? Or mastering explosive? I'll be in disadvantage then.
"No no no … I change my choice" Gunnar hurriedly replies.
"So, what's your choice then?"
"I choose to master: Firearms" Gunnar said with firm tone.
"Very well, are you sure with your choice? Once you've reincarnated you can't change it".
"No, I've made up my mind. I'm not change it"
"Shall we start the process then?" the old man start to raise his hand.
"Can I ask one more thing?" said Gunnar.
"Named it" the old man getting impatient.
"Can I keep my memories intact?"
"Granted! You will retain memories of your previous life. Now be prepared!"
White glow start to radiate from the old man hand, and Gunnar's body becoming transparent.
"Sir, I forget to ask your name. What's your name?" shout Gunnar when his body start to vanish.
"My name is Lou Kee" said the old man before Gunnar's body completely disappears.
