Chapter 3: 3

Immediately kelvin saw his opponent slashing his arm, he knew he had to act now, he immediately used his soul to speed up his blood circulation in his toes, focusing his lower body strength in his legs allowed him to temporarily use shave to move to the back of his opponent, kelvin immediately summoned a fireball above his hand and started rotating it causing the oxygen in the air to feed his flame and creating turbulent kinetic energy before pressing the fireball to his opponents back.

In a dark room filled with screens depicting fighting scenes that where happening in the test, the test scores were watching a screen with apt attention, what was shown on the screen was kelvins fight. The reason why his fight was given so much attention was because his opponent was an awakened talent of myriad wind blades and was in the second level houtain stage while kelvin could only summon one fireball at a time and hadn't even started cultivating yet, so one could imagine their shock that kelvin could kill his opponent easily and without any injury. The test scorers immediately started pulling out the information of kelvin out of their drives. It was the same at was written on his test registration, his awakened talents only showed fireball. One should know that once an applicant got to the test site an obscure device would scan them to confirm their talents before the test began. And kelvin the boy they were watching could increase his speed to the point someone two stages above him would feel he had vanished and he did so without any cultivation. So the first thing that came to mind was that he had just awakened a speed related talent, it wasn't rare for people to have two talents, but when he was rescanned in the test space the result still showed one thing only "fireball". Above the test scorers the teachers of various academies who were there to watch and pick talents watched the commotion with amusement in their eyes, one could tell they where enjoying the show. The supervisor of the test who was sitting with the teachers couldn't stand the commotion and decided to explain to his subordinates below. "there is no problem with what is shown, the testers talent is only fireball, and as for why his speed increased for fast cannot be verified unless he displays it again in person." Someone below immediately stood up to ask why the tester's fireball had shown more damage than expected. The supervisors eyes wrinkled in annoyance, the majority of the test scorers below were spies sent by aristocratic families, if any of the testers with no background showed astounding talents they would be poached and this would reduce the amount of students that would be accepted into the government or military, and this kelvin had been eyed by the military because of his combat awareness and the supervisor owed the military instructor a favor so he had to downplay the kids abilities. "It was probably a fluke as a result of the wind elements fluctuations created by his opponent". At the supervisors words most of the testers lost interest, those that still had suspicions decided it wasn't worth it cause they had a limited amount of people they could accept in the family each year, only the tester that asked the question looked on with narrowed eyes before deciding to send the video of kelvins fight to the family.

Kelvin had no idea the commotion he had caused and even if he knew he wouldn't care cause he was now being chased by a lvl2 lightning panther.
