Chapter 88: Guess what your son did?

The ride for the boy and the dragon glided for about half an hour until they reached near the heart of the miasma cloud.

Under them a thick army of undead raised from the earth.

The boy's eyes went wide there was a whole army down there more soldiers that he had ever seen in his very short life!

Death knights rode on skeletal horses with what seemed to be generals and worst of all if he recalled what some legends spoke off a lich king with a crown and garment of a wizard. This was horribly bad.

They needed to get away before the lich spotted them! He was riding on a dracolich! That dragon had long died but its bone had risen thanks to the necromantic god of evil, death and darkness Baahl.

They were out of reach off all but the lich! And this dracolich could be considered a full-fledged dragon.

In its undead form, he had retained its intelligence, strength and worst of all, magic power at full force before his time of death.

Both held their breath afraid of breathing to loudly, unfortunately, the moment they had come in range the dragon had smelled them lifting its bone spiked head toward there direction was their cue to run, well more like fly away and flee.

The dragon with a mighty roar that could be heard from all the lands, launched a powerful beam of breath pricing through the sky!

Speranza and Chie could even see the light go up and die down as the breath weapon had been unleashed. Both paled at the thought of a dragon in the land of the miasma!

No matter how fast a young dragon is he is still no match for one that had lived for more than a thousand years!

Shoot out of the sky from the hit on his left wing sending them both to crash far from the heart site but still in the miasma area the lich gave its silent orders as the knights and soldiers moved.

In a dark castle, a demon lord sat on a window ledge spotting the light goes on and off. His brow furrowed slightly. Seems someone had gone poke at the hornet's nest…

A man with wild indigo hair golden slithered iris ears pointy and long adorning metal spikes as piercings entered the room, without much regard for the owner as he slammed the door open. Speaking with a nasty evil smirk curling his devilicious lips.

"Yo," the man snickered. "Guess what your son is up to?" the man found the situation highly entertaining as it would likely force that idiot out of hiding…

The Lord gave him a gaze had he had successfully got his attention. Only the mention of his beloved and his son would summon him to make a move, any other reason he wouldn't lift a finger.

"That boy went to poke a nasty hornet nest." The man crossed his arms lazily as he stood leaning against the doorframe at a safe distance from that freak... As he knew he was poking a bee's nest with this piece of news…

"So much that he poking the dragon…" he said pointing the direction of the beam that had long disappeared...

He had barely finished that the man had gone and gave him a punch in the gut, speaking with murderous and enraged tone deep and deadly.

"And you did not consider good to stop him?" that question sounded like it would be his last moment if wrongly answered.

"Well, I can't fly."

Bang!

"Metallican If my son gets hurt I will beat you up till your ancestors can even feel it!" he roared.

Then he left the seen dressed up for war grabbing a sword in the passing his tight black leather pants with a miscellaneous knife attached to his thighs.

He whistled once and a massive black wyvern raised from the ground as he jumped from the top floor of the highest tower, landing smoothly on the head of the wyvern that now had the size of a respectable Dragonoid kind.

Living in the dark energy land had filled its growth spurt and developed its affinity with darkness, making that once majestic black scaled wyvern grow up to humongous size and demonified it.

With a few wing flaps, it had flown off in the distance.

The man was shot down and shoved away to the other wall. While the blast was impressive he walked off quite scutt free. That was no weakling, after all, he was the Lord's blood-related cousins after all.

Metallican answered sheepishly smug. "I am sure you'll thank me later you stubborn idiot."

An unconscious boy now laid next to his flat out dragon as tree adults made there way desperately to the heart hoping to find him first! All of them racing against time and praying to the faith that the boy would be unarmed.
