Chapter 62: The Giant Human, Strength and a Mana Formation
Silence reigned over the mages and warriors scattered across the desert. Nobody said a word and just looked towards the giant sand worm with hesitation in their eyes.
"Haha, the little girl is right! We can't stay here hiding while a little girl fights such a big thing all alone! She is taking the attention of the giant sand worm, if we attack, we would be able to catch it off guard. With the focus split between the red haired girl and us, we can kill it! Together we can take down the giant sand worm! Who is with me?!"
Just as Poe was about to speak again, a valiant voice spoke up. Looking towards the voice, Poe saw a giant of a man, in full plate armor with a hand around the handle of a giant sword resting on one of his shoulder, in the other hand a giant square shield.
[???, human guardian, lvl 26]
Just looking at him, Poe felt like he looked at someone from the giant race and if he did not use inspect, Poe would never have guessed he was from the human race.
"T-thank you!"
Poe said while bowing towards the giant plated in armor.
"HAHA, no problem."
The man said as he turned towards the surrounding mages and warriors.
"EVERYONE! WARRIORS ATTACK THE GIANT SAND WORM FROM THE SIDES; I WILL TRY TO HELP THE LITTLE GIRL FIGHTING IT. MAGES STAY IN THE BACK AND THROW MAGIC AT IT!"

Poe thought he was going deaf, that man truly knew how to shout. Looking around, Poe saw that everyone was fired up and ready to fight, Poe felt truly grateful towards the giant man.
Before anyone could react, the man plated in armor dashed towards the worm. Taking up his shield, light slowly gathered around it as it lit up. The light slowly expanded, as the man closed in on the worm and it looked like the shield grew with it.
Soon the shield was over 5 meters high and 5 meters wide. The man had also made it to the side of the giant sand worm.
"SHIELD BASH!"
Shouting loudly, the man smashed his shield directly into the side of the worms head.
Ivy, who was fighting the giant sand worm, looked at the man in surprise at the sudden attack.
*ROAR*
The worm on the other hand did not take it so kindly, as it turned towards the man and conjured earth javelins throwing them towards the man. The man did not flinch as he put up his shield. Light slowly covered his entire armor and the earth javelins arrived.
*crack*
A cracking sound slowly spread out, it was not the man's armor cracking, but the earth javelins cracking all over before completely splintering into small rocks.
The man stood tall in place as he looked at the giant sand worm stopping for a moment, not understanding what just happened.
"IS THAT ALL YOU GOT?"
The man shouted, as he looked ferociously towards the worm.
*ROAR*
The worm changed its target from Ivy to the man and quickly slithered towards him.
The other mages and warriors did not stand still either and the first spells flew towards the worm hitting it, followed behind the first barrage of spells were the warriors, who started using all kind of weapon skills on the giant sand worm.
Poe looked at the warriors attacking the sides of the worm, while mages threw spells from afar. There were around 15 warriors and 7 or so mages, 9 with Lucia and Poe.
Poe also saw Lucia using earth magic on the worm, Poe was just about to attack when he saw something that scared him. The wounds on the giant sand worms were slowly closing.
Poe looked around and saw that nobody had noticed it yet and looking at the giant man and Ivy holding off the worm Poe realized he had to do something.
Sadly, Poe did not have any strong spells. Thinking this far, Poe felt like he really needed some strong spells, but there was no time for it.
After thinking for a bit, Poe realized he could only use mana ball barrage. Thinking about it, Poe remembered that when he used mana ball barrage, he could increase the number of mana balls inside it and make it stronger. Last time he did that, it cost more mana, but also leveled up the skill.
Having come to a decision, Poe put his skill points from reaching level 13 into intelligence and started creating mana balls.
On the other side of things, Ivy and the giant man who were fighting the worm noticed the regeneration ability as well.
"HAAAaaa, any idea how to deal with that little girl?"
The man asked, as he dodged a spike shooting out from ground.
"No idea. Maybe we co-"
Just as Ivy was about to say something see looked towards a certain direction and saw a certain someone doing something…
"Haaa, looks like we do have a plan, EVERYONE! RETREAT WHEN I SAY SO!"
Saying so, Ivy started shouting loudly making sure everyone heard her.
The man looked puzzled for awhile, but decided to trust Ivy.
Poe was slowly growing his mana ball barrage. The number of mana balls increased steadily.
50, 60, 70, 77, 89, 99.

Seeing the notification, Poe did not feel happy.
Poe thought, as long as the number of mana balls reached 100, something special would happen and he would be able to kill the worm.

Looking at his mana, Poe let out a sigh as he used his last mana trying to create one final mana ball.
After some time Poe started breathing heavily as he was about to pass out from mana exhaustion, just at this moment the final mana ball appeared.
The mana ball had a stronger aura than the rest and looked bigger.
[Skill mana ball barrage evolved into Mana Formation]: mana ball barrage is a formation of mana balls. Trained to a high enough level the user would be able to see the lines binding the mana balls together as a whole to form a formation of mana balls, upon understanding this the skill mana formation, will be obtained.
[Gained Active skill: Mana formation lvl 1]: Able to use mana and construct mana formations using things like mana balls, mana spikes, mana sword and so on. Can also ???(skill level too low)
Seeing the notification, Poe let out a smile before releasing the formation constructed out of mana balls towards the giant sand worm.
Having done this, Poe collapsed unconscious on the ground.
