Chapter 7: Chapter 6: Rushing against the time
Sitting on the hallway, in front of the left opened door, there was a sign engraved on it, [ STUDENT COUNCIL ] it said, hanging on the upper side of the door.
Legenn took a peek, the room was empty and no one is inside.
Legenn holds the jade stone on his palm and he grips it. Deep inside him lies a swarm of questions that needed logical answer, strange things happened to him last night and it won't let him at ease.
A strong happening that changes his way of life and his beliefs in a single night.
The voices of students passing him, bumping him like he's not there still lingers in his ears, but his sight became solid as he stares at gis fist where the strange stone is.
"I got to have these return to her no matter what!" Legenn said to himself as he look through the sign plate and recall the happenings last night of what he felt and saw.
" Definitely! " he continued.
Legenn was running on the hallway, passing the sign [ No running in the hallway ] It was painted in red and contrast so any student can read it, but Legenn runs as he didn't saw it.
He was finding for someone as he seeks for something racing with the time. " Come on..
where are they?" he said.
Legenn knows they can't give him the answer but he still must try.
Atleast he must do something to convince them to tell him the adress of Lilian.
"They definitely knows where the house of LIllian is so I'm gonna ask them."
After a while of looking room to room, Legenn finally found them at the library.
Talking to a librarian who is also a student. A female not tall and looked quite nerdy, with her short hair and braces, pimples on her cheeks and bushy eyebrows.
The two student council were giving her a warning as if they are giving she violated something.
Legenn was watching them in the distance by peeking through the edge of the door.
Luckily it was so rare for students to visit library since there is internet, why bother to open a book and looked at the page every single page of the book, wondering cluelessly.
Only a number of students visits thee library, mostly the geeks and the bookworms who rather looked at the books because books contains facts and legit information than internet who random people posts information for free and it is an unreliable information from unknown resources.
" I wonder if they will take me seriously and maybe they will tell me.....or maybe not." Legenn waved off his head as his low confidence started to emerged.
" Aaargh whatever!" Legenn rushed towards them without thinking.
"Uhm...excuse me, but I need Ms. Lillian's adress, if yoou cann tell me, I'll be tha....th...thankful."
Legenn asked themm, as his voice are getting slower and lower.
The librarian, the two Student council ceased from talking and turned their heads towards Legenn at the same time that makes Legenn to look down on the fooor immediately and he started to tap both of his pointing finger on his lower body.
"I'm sorry, I didnt mean to," Legennn apologized.
As silence befalls upon them, Legenn rushed out from the door without looking back.
" Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit! "
"What have I've done? what an aweful timing!"
Legenn said while his running out of breath.
Reaching the same hallway were where he is earlier. The distance of it from the library is two blocks away, so he can finally take a breather.
He was now walking in slow and relaxing himself.
" Maybe I should forget it, maybe I should,...AHH!"
"Now what do I have to do next!!??"
Legenn holds his head and lightly squeezed it."
Legenn pass through the student council, he was just standing earlier but someone loomed before him.
Legenn slowly lift his head. Froom their shoes towards his pants and her skirt, uniform and blouse, there's no mistake.
Legenn was puzzled, he immediately looked back from where the library is and turned his head again his eyes grew wider after he scratched it.
"B..but you were just there, how did you..."He said, his voice were tattering
"Forget it," said the female student council.
"Why do you want to know Ms. Lillians adress?" said the male.
Both their expression were emotionless, their eyes were blank and their voices were monotone.
" Legenn couldn't answer, his mind wouldn't followed by the moment and is still processing whats going on.
They both stand there in silence for a moment waiting for Legenn but Legenn failed to give the answer.
" A stalker maybe??" Said the female.
"A creeep who wants to stalk Ms. Lillian." Said the male.
" We should turned him into the office.."Said the female.
Legenn could feel the pressure arising.
"Wait, wait please, Im not a stalker, I just want to ask her something personally."
The two student council look at each other and they are like communicating through their eyes.
"We refuse!" They said synchronizely.
"But wait, I really need to asked her..."
" We refused! " They said again at the same time.
"You are not allowed to talk to Ms Lillian, theres no way she will talk to a creep like you."
"But this is important" said Legenn
He looked at his poket and he took the glass stone.
"Here I'm not sure it's from her but maybe he dropped it last night, so I'm gonna have to return it to her and ask her why did she went to infirmary room last night." he continued.
The two student counncil looked surprised when they saw what in Legenns hand. They both looked at Legenn withh an intent in their eyes.
