Chapter 9: Jumping the handsome stranger (1)
When she left the room she immediately started to look around in the rest of the house.
Because everyone knew that that room was Brutus's playroom, no one was around so she was able to go around unnoticed.
In the rare instances that someone came, she was able to conceal her presence and hide her breath flawlessly thanks to her assassin skills.
When she entered the first room she felt immensely regretful.
[I should have skewered that vulgar pig and fried him above a fire]
[Maybe I could've hacked him in a thousand pieces while keeping him alive as long as possible.] Innumerable dark thoughts filled her mind when she saw a huge pile of female clothing in front of her.
She couldn't afford to stay in this house for too long so she swiftly grabbed a red dress to wear over the rag she had on and she wrapped a black cloth around her so she could hide better.
Thanks to the tips she had gotten from her brothers who were thieves she almost immediately found the treasure room.
Without thinking too much she opened the door and started plundering.
She threw everything she found into her space but suddenly a powerful aura speedily made its way to where she was.
"Who dares plunder my house!"
Brutus's father had instantly gone towards the treasure room when the alarm went off in his room. "Oh crap, I gotta get out of here!"
She immediately started running away because it would be really bad if her identity was exposed here.
It was due to using a special technique that she was pretty quick but Brutus senior was speedily gaining ground.
Brutus's father who was also called Brutus, therefore Brutus senior, was known in Astrum country for his powers.
With his cultivation rank being green rank 1, he was the fifteenth strongest cultivator so it was no wonder that Luna was no match for his speed.
"I can't keep going like this or I'll be caught." She muttered through gritted teeth.
When she turned the corner of the street she threw of her black robe and when she saw a hot looking man appear in her vision she pushed his body against the wall while her left hand had moved to grasp his manly, flawless neck and whispered in a wickedly seductive tone: "Play along or I'll kill you."
