Chapter 23: Attack me
The fat teenager ran past the guards of his house, and entered his father's study. The city lord of Cromer's city looked at his son, whose face was swollen by all the slaps dumbfounded.
"What happened to you, Hong'er?" Liang Hong, almost cried when he heard his father asked this question.
"Father you must avenge me!" He said almost bawling.
"Tell me who did this to you?!" The city lord was fuming with anger, seeing his son beat up so badly, was a great loss to his face. He already knew that this son of his was a good for nothing, but he was still the son of Liang Chen. How could he allow someone to actually beat up his own son, in his very own territory.
Lian Hong, told his father about a trip to a restaurant with his bodyguards, he left the part of him harassing some girls, and just said that the chef just started beating up him and his people, after he simply criticized the meal he cooked.
Lian Chen knowing his son, knew that there was lie somewhere in his story, but that didn't matter for now. Anyone who dares harm the dignity of the city lord's family needs to die.
To show that he was not someone that can be shamed like this, he was going to tear down the restaurant with a show of force, so that no one will ever dare do so again. He called one of his men to gather up his private unit, which consisted of fighters at the 1st level of the Foundation Establishment realm.
Once the men he called were gathered, he asked his son to lead him to the fool who tried to shame their family. Seeing his father so serious, made Lian Hong delighted. Knowing the fool who angered, and shamed him, will be tortured and killed pleased him very much.
'After father kills that fool, I'll ask him to spare the two women with him, to show an act of kindness. Then I'll be able to play with them as much as I want.' Lian Hong's thought were full of lust, as he happily guided his father to the restaurant.
When Lian Chen so the street they were in, he felt something ominous was about to happen. When he saw the restaurant that his son lead him to, he felt a chill run down his spine. He wanted to stop his son from doing anything foolish, but because of the unexpected events, he was late to react.
"Hey you crazy bastard, come out here, and die for this young master." Lian Hong shouted gleefully.
Lian Chen wanted to smack his own son, before he said anything else, but was stopped by the presence of the monster that came out of the restaurant. The monster was smiling at Lian Chen, that smile made him feel weak in the knees.
"We meet again Lian Chen." Ragna said in a somehow grievous tone. Lian Chen wanted to move before things got even more serious, but once again his idiotic son spoke first.
"How dare you call my father's name without honorifics. Wait till my father's subordinates deal with you."
"Really now?... Well bring it then." Ragna said with a sneer on his face.
When Lian Chen saw this, he immediately kowtowed. "No need to call me Lord, Venerable Ragna. I am sorry for all the offenses my son, has made. I will punish him severely later! You fool kowtow in front of the Venerable!"
Lian Hong was shocked by his father's actions. Wasn't this chef suppose to be the one kowtowing?
"You fool kowtow now! All of you kowtow!" Lian Chen subordinates quickly kowtowed in front of Ragna, seeing their lord act like this made them realize what kind of monster they were facing. Lian Hong on the other hand hesitated for a long while, but still kowtowed because of his father's vicious glare.
"No need to do all this, Lord Lian Chen. Just do what your son just said, ask your subordinates to subdue me." When Lian Chen heard Ragna, he felt a deep fear of what's to come. He pressed his head harder to the ground.
"Their is no need for that Venerable, please forgive me!" He could only beg, for Ragna's mercy.
"If your not going to ask them to attack there going to die without a fight, is that what you want?" Lian Chen knew that Ragna was seriously going to kill all his elite subordinates, the ones he nurtured for years, and invested a lot of his capital. All because of his idiotic son, Lian Chen wanted nothing to do but strangle his idiotic son.
"I'll give you to the count of three, if no one attacks me by the time I'm done counting... Well instead of having a fight will be having a massacre instead." The people in the restaurant and the surrounding area who heard what Ragna said, felt a shiver to the core of their soul.
Lian Chen clenched his fist, and bit his lower lip until it bled, "All of you I command you to attack Venerable Ragna."
When his subordinates heard the order, they knew they were sent to die. Still there was only one enemy and fifty of them, all at the first level of the Foundation Establishment Realm, even a peak Golden Core realm expert might not be able to survive fighting them.
Even though they were extremely wary of Ragna they had no choice now, they can never disobey the city lord.
"That's much better, let's see what that fat pig is so proud about." Ragna who was once an otaku, has now been corrupted by his act, the system, and the world he was in, he was now solely focus in leveling up. 'I'm not the one in the wrong anyway, These guys were willing to kill an innocent just to save face, I'm pretty sure that their deaths will be better for everyone.' Ragna trying to retain a piece of his modern world ethics tried to convince himself.
