"Ground team I'm going for a jump! Watch your fire! How copy!?"
"Rescue squad, good copy!"
Few seconds later, the chopper has arrived at a good position, while Barr is preparing the Horus landing assist device. The pilot then give the go ahead to Barr. "This is good place! Jump from the left side! I'll stand by on top of that small clearing! Gods be with you!"
Barr give two thumbs up to the pilot. "Thanks man! JUMPING!!"
Barr then jump and land savely beside the crash site. "Dunn!! Dunn, you okay!?"
"Yeah I'm good. What took you so long?"
"Well now I'm here. So, how do you want to do it?"
"Well~ luckily, this guy can still move and this bird are not that big. I don't think I have to use the body strengtening magic. We just need lift this bird for a few seconds so he can crawl out."
"Yeah, both of us can do that."
"Alright. You heard that, right buddy?"
"Yeah. I think I can manage that."
"Alright! Let's get ready then." Dunn and Barr then took a quick look for a good spot to lift the wreckage. "Ready? On three."
"Gotcha. Here we go! One!"
"Two!"
"THREE!! GRRRRR!!!"
"AAAARGH!!" The co-pilot scream in pain. But it didn't stop him to pull himself out from under the wreckage. "I'M OUT!!"
Hearing this, both Dunn and Barr release the Wreckage. Dunn then immediately check the co-pilot. "You alright!?"
"Yeah... Man.. I got sleepy all of the sudden.." The co-pilot almost faint because of the shock but still manage to give Dunn an answer.
'SLAP' Dunn give the co-pilot a slap. "Don't sleep yet, doctors order."
"Heh, I'll.. try..."
"He's losing it.. we gotta move. Barr, plant the charge, we are moving now."
"Gotcha." Barr then plant a satchel charge on the cockpit and then call for extraction. "Charger set, we're good. Nomad-zero-three we got him! Requesting evac!"
"Rescue squad roger that. Descending in 2 mikes."
"Roger that! C'mon buddy we got 2 minutes."
"Alright. Let's GO!!"
Dunn and Barr then push the co-pilot out and then themself. After that they put the co-pilot on a stretcher, then run like hell toward the extraction site. When Nomad-zero-three saw them running toward him, he immediately began to descent. When they are close, Dunn and Barr quickly throw the co-pilot inside the chopper and then themself.
The gunner quickly tell the pilot to ascend. "Three package in. Let's bug out."
"Roger that." When the pilot began to ascend, he saw a golem arm from the cave. "Oh shit. Red! I saw golem from the cave! Can you see it!?"
The gunner saw it and give the pilot a direction. "I saw it. Give me 60° left."
The pilot quickly turn the chopper 60° to the left as requested. The gunner then shoot his minigun at the golem. Fortunately the golem's armor is thin and only be able to stop their own weapons. Against modern weaponary, that armor is like a piece of plywood board.
'Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrttttttt' With just 10 seconds barrage of the minigun, the golem lost it's weapon, right arm and it's head.
Even though losing his golem's weapon, right arm and head, the golem's pilot refuse to give up and then charge at the chopper.
Seeing this, the gunner began to barrage the golem once again. But this time, he had a help.
'Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrttttttt' 'BOOM''BOOM''BOOM''BOOM'
The ground team also shoot their Striker loaded with HEDP, that can damage soft targets and penetrate armor. It quickly destroy the golem and killing the pilot inside.
"Good shoting Red. You guys too ground team."
Barr then shout out a warning. "I'm detonating the bird! Everyone stand clear!"
Hearing this, all helicopters then began to stay clear of the wreckage. The ground team also packing up the striker and return back to their chopper. "Wreckage's clear. Go ahead with detonation."
"Good copy!" Barr then squeeze the detonator. 'BOOOOM!!' The satchel charge exploded and the explosion manage to completly destroy the helicopter.
"All units, we are in the clear."
Dunn then check the both the pilot and co-pilot thoroughly "'Scan' Hmm..." Dunn then began his recording. "Date 27-7. Time stamp, 1554 hours. The Pilot, male, elf, name Bialaer Bilamin, age 197. His blood type.... EV negative. Patient condition is currently unconscious. A bolt.. more like a stake really, is lodged on his left arm pit, but no bleeding occur thanks to the bandages that my partner put on him. Surgeries are needed to pull the bolt out. I recommend to cast the patient at least a level 3 healing spell. The co-pilot male, human, name kivoch? Wait, scratch that, the patient is half human-half oni. Age.. wow.. 56. His blood type HAB+OS positive. The patient is also unconscious and on a very bad state. My scan indicate that 2 of his ribs are broken, as well as both of his legs. Also, his left foot is crushed, but still attached. He will need at least level 5 healing magic and maybe few surgeries. Late treatment will cause his left foot to go worse and will cause amputation. If that happen we'll need to cast him a level 7 healing magic that can grow body parts... End record."
Hearing the report, Bolrow quickly give orders. "Nomad-zero-three evacuate my boys back to Lervi. Aztec-zero-eight and zero-nine escort Nomad-zero-three. The rest of you, we'll continue the mission. Also, in case we're attacked again, we will ignore them and just climb up so they can't shoot us. Grabing the HVT is our priority. Understand?"
"Understood."

After that, Dunn took a sit and let out a sigh of relief. While Bolrow on the other hand is still on edge. He then give a report of the accident to Oman. "Ground leader this is Aztec leader do you copy?"
"Good copy Aztec leader."
"Sir, we are ambushed by a troop of hostiles. I lost a bird, but luckily the pilot and co-pilot were alive and saved. Nomad-zero-three is now carry hem back to Lervi with Aztec-zero-eight and zero-nine as their escort. The corpsman will send recording of his preliminary check, please prepare surgery team for both."
"Roger that Aztec leader. We heard your radio chatters. Two surgery team is already on stand by. Your boys will be fine."
"You have my thanks ground leader. The rest of the Aztec team plus Nomad-zero-five is still on the HVT extraction."
"Copy that. Also, do you manage to identify the hostiles?"
"From the flag on those golems, they are Windel kingdom's soldiers."
Oman then pause for a moment before answer back. "Roger that, thanks for the info. Continue with your mission. We'll ask around how and why those Windel soldiers were there."
"Roger Ground leader. Aztec leader out."
Oman then search for Tigun to ask him about the ambush. He then spot Tigun on a break room. "Knight leader Tigun, I'm sorry to bother your meal, but we have a situation."
"What is it? Is the enemy starting another attack!?"
"No. There's an ambush on my men in this place." Oman then show Tigun the recording of the attack.
"This is.. the Qun canyon. How many are there?"
"Unknown. But at least a company of foot soldiers and a platoon of golem."
".... Hmmm.. It can't be.. But then again.." Tigun rack his brain of why would an enemy be there. "This is only my conjecture, but maybe they are deserters." Tigun then began to explain. "That canyon is near the main rute of our logistic. And from a month ago, we encounter some hold out near there. But I dismissed them as a large threat at that time, because they only stole only small amount of goods."
"Deserters... to make sure, I'll send a company there. Knight Tigun, if they surrender or we manage to capture them, can you take them in?"
"It should be no problem. We have a medium sized prison in here. It should be enough to hold 30 men, or 50 if we cram them in. But if they surrender without a fight, there would be at least 150 people right? If that's the case, we could modify one of the warehouse."
"I'll leave it to you then."
But before Oman can go, Tigun ask him a question. "What will you do next?"
"Tonight, I will bring 3 company (600) of my men to Turov and began the seige."
"If so, I bid you good luck. I wish I can also go to Turov. But alas, I'm needed here."
"Wait for the good news. It will come."
Oman then go toward the FOB and began the preparation for the siege.
