Even Sun Feiyan couldn't help but jolted from her seat when she saw Lu Xinyi being strangled by their abductor. However, before she could move to help her cousin, she was shoved back at her seat by one of Zou Yin's men. 

'Shit.' Sun Feiyan panicked. She might not like this cousin of hers, but she certainly didn't want to see her cousin die. 

Where the hell were Shen Yi and Li Yuren when they needed them? What was taking them so long? At this rate, the three of them would end up dead even before they arrived for their rescue. 

"Let me go, you brute! My husband will be arriving any minute now, and you certainly don't want to be seen when he comes!" Lu Xinyi said, her lips and body trembling in fear. She'd never felt this kind of terror in her life until now. 

The grip on her neck wasn't too tight, but Lu Xinyi felt vulnerable while on her lying position with Zou Yin hovering over her form.
