Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Tragedy
The next day when Peter woke up, it was a casual day. He went downstairs for breakfast and sat on dining table. It was strange because he didn't see his mother. After searching all the rooms as he was passing by the kitchen, it felt like the world stopped for Peter. He couldn't believe what he was seeing and his whole body got cold as ice.
There was a dead body but it was of his mother's. Peter fell down and got unconscious. He could see the stab wounds on her mother's body. The murderer had stabbed his mother 12 times, 5 in the heart, 4 in her stomach and 3 times in her face. He saw that the fridge was completely empty and the door of the house was left opened. He then realized that it was the stranger who killed his mother but he couldn't do anything at that time because it was too late.
He was just still for a few hours, his memories with her mother were playing in a loop inside his head. It seemed like his life was completely destroyed. There was nothing left in his life. But the words from the man whose voice he heard came to his mind and he grasped his fist and said to himself that he will get through this and things will get better.
He decided to go to his uncle's house and tell him about her mother. When the his uncle heard about he was very heartbroken.
"I am sorry for your loss Peter but we will get through this together" said his uncle.
"It's okay uncle Joey" said Peter.
Later that day they all went to bury his mother including Uncle Joey's two daughters. Peter couldn't bear to see her mother getting buried so he decided that it will be better for him to not look. After the funeral they all went home and Peter started to live with his uncle.
