Chapter 3: The Office

"Kyaaaa!" someone screamed among the great crowd.

The receptionist's eyes widened with fear as she desperately started to pack up her stuff when she noticed a suspicious woman in a black tight suit that captured her curves.

The woman wore dark sunglasses and a black cap to hide her tiny face. It was obvious that the woman was trying to hide her identity as she took a glance of all the cameras hidden from sight.

The office had CCTVs that surrounded the lobby to capture the area in all angles possible. She instantly ducked into the blind spots as she chose to appear in front of the cameras in the angles where the guns could not be seen.

The people in the crowd frantically looked around to determine the source of the scream as they pushed and pulled each other while turning their heads.

"A gun!" A person near the edge of the crowd yelled.

The woman didn't bother to hide her weapons once it was discovered by the worker's keen eyes. She threw off her blazer that drifted near her hip which uncovered the additional spare guns she carried with her.

'We better run for our lives,' Everyone in the crowd instantly thought when they saw her fully armed.

"Hey!" Someone complained when people started to elbow each other to storm out of the building.

"Watch it!" Another person was tripped from someone else who attempted to run away with panic.

Everyone started to run for their lives before the woman could detain them inside the building to use them as hostages. The once gossiping crowd was now attempting to storm out of the building with the mentality of 'every person for themselves'.

It was almost like a rat race where everyone competed with each other to get to the end goal of riches. This time, the end goal was the rotating doors near the entrance of the building or the back door that led to the parking lot.

Since the crowd around him was very chaotic, it was not until the the crowd dispersed that Oliver was able to find out the reason for the scream.

A tall woman wore spiked heels with spare guns in both sides of her waist from the ropes from her harness. She grinned as she waved her metal gun in the air.

'Who should be my first target?' She licked her lips with anticipation.

Unfortunately, Oliver instantly landed in her line of sight as the sore person who couldn't escape from the building due to his blocked vision from the chaotic crowd.

'Middle aged guys aren't my type,' The woman frowned with displeasure.

The woman wanted a fresh young boy around his early twenties as her first victim in this building. Her pleasure derived from feeding off the fear and screams of the young boys once she had lured them into her tiny condo.

The woman was not always like this. She used to be a normal office worker during the daytime who liked to visit host clubs during the evening to relief some stress.

Back then, she had spent most of her money on purchasing the wine and various other alcohols to support her favourite host. She showered him with the most expensive gifts as she struggled to get by with her meager paychecks.

"If it wasn't for her money, who would talk to her?" The host complained to his makeup artist when the woman sneaked into the waiting room to capture some pictures of her favourite host.

The woman gasped as she was confronted with the real personality of the sweet host who smiled every time she visited. At some point, he unintentionally became her sole reason for living. He cheered her up while she complained about her boss scolding her in the daytime. He listened to her when her parents passed away from a car crash and when she confessed she thought of quitting her job one day.

"You're a great person, Jay." He tried to cheer her up with both of his fists eagerly clenched with energy.

A tear dripped down her face as she was determined to have her revenge on people like him. That way, no one would ever have to suffer like she did.

She didn't have to hide her shock with her mask that covered half of her face. Oliver greatly resembled her past boss once she had looked at him more carefully with his thick eyebrows and high nose.

'Maybe he could be a good substitute for today,' the woman decided to keep Oliver as her first target.

She put her automatic rifle back into her harness to pull out a standard handgun. She tugged on the gun to pull out a bullet to get ready to shoot.

'Which one first? The leg? Arm? Hand?' She hummed with joy.

Oliver knew if he ran with his back towards her, he would be dead in no time. He could recognize those crazed eyes that resembled the loli he meant earlier on in the day.

During training for dealing with tough and aggressive clients, he learnt that it was the best to back away slowly to not aggravate them even further.

Oliver slowly stepped back as he chose to escape to the back exit which led to the parking lot.

"Where are you going?" The woman tilted her head as if she was offended.

"Aaarrrggghhh" Oliver screamed when a metal bullet pierced his left leg.

'This woman cannot be reasoned with!' Oliver decided to run to the nearest exit.

"Awww. Don't run. I don't want to kill you before I enjoy myself first," She appeared to be sulking.

Oliver collapsed onto the ground as he struggled to keep his mind intact from the excruciating pain. He heavily breathed in and out as his mind became numb after she had clumily shot both of his feet. His muscles tensed from last resort as he shivered with fear that she would find new limbs to target.

His large thumping heart beats was the only sound keeping him sane as he couldn't stop screaming from agony. His body felt like it was burning from a wildfire where his bones were pierced. The pain that was focused on one central spot spread to other areas as as if it was expanding like a balloon.

He wished that he would faint or die. It was better to lose your consciousness than to suffer through the torture while you were awake.

Eventually, Oliver couldn't even scream anymore with his hoarse throat.

'Please kill me. Please kill me. Please kill me.' Oliver repeatedly thought with the last bits of his energy.

"But it wouldn't be fun if you died too easily," the loli watched the hallow screen in her empty room.
