Chapter 17: Decoration, Rooms and Areas
When Adam was on his way to the kitchen, he noticed that all of the materials on each and every decorated room he passed by are all furnitures and nothing more, he didn't see any appliances and other types of items, he know that the reason of this is because, appliances on the Shopping Window are from 23rd century where he came from, while his mother came from a medieval age world, and she was still new to this kinds of items and not aware of how to use it.
On that time, Adam knew that his mother need some help. Somebody needs to demonstrate how to operate and use all the appliances to her. After a minute, Adam saw the entrance to the kitchen.
Inside the kitchen, Regina was still reading a description of a stove in the Shopping Window, when Adam walks in. When she notice her son walking towards her, tears starts to appear at the side of her eyes. Adam notice it and said.
"Mom, you need some help?"
Regina run to her son and hug it.
"Thank god my dear, finally your here, I was really so confused of what to buy, I dont know how to use and operate almost all of it, can you help me." Regina said.
"Mom, I need to do some quest outside so I can't help you, but don't worry, I will let Lilly to help you, she know how to operate all the appliances at the Shopping Window, she can also advice you of what item you need to buy, and not." Adam pause for a second before he continue.
"By the way Mom, Dad already left, about an hour ago. He said that he will take care of himself."
"I know he really will." Regina nodded.
"I will contact Lilly to come hear, wait for a minute."
After a couple minutes, Lilly came, Adam order her to help his mother in decorating the Mansion, he also tell her to show some decoration designs that they can use as references, so that they can decorate the mansion easily.
Before Adam left the two girls, he remember something mysterious.
"By the way Mom, I don't remember that I gave you money to buy things in this mansion, I'm just wondering, how did you get Golds." Adam ask Regina.
Regina chuckled before she talk.
"Adam my dear, you don't know how rich your mother was, I don't know how it happens, but do you remember the time we get our skill and weapon at the mailbox? When I check my Inventory at that time, its not only Weapon and Skills were in my inventory, there is another one. It's called Gift Box, when I check the details about it, the description said that it was a welcome gift to me. When I try to make it out in the Inventory by clicking it, it disappeared, then after a second, lots of items pop out in my inventory, and one of them are Golds worth 10 million, that money is the one I use in buying items here at the Mansion." Regina explained.
Adam was shocked, he can't believe that Gift Box was also available in this Mainframe Space.
"Mom, can I see the other items that pop out when you open the gift box." Adam asked.
Regina nodded and bring out her inventory. When Adam saw all the items, he was so shocked, there are lots of useful items and materials inside Regina's Inventory. A Full Set of Polished Battle Dress, complete list of Accesories, Beautiful Fashion Dresses, and lots of more. After checking everything, Adam focus on a beautiful ring.
"Mom, what is that ring?" Adam pointed at one ring on Regina's inventory.
"Let us see, I still didn't check everything in here thats why I don't know." Regina click the ring to see the descriptions.
"It was a portal ring, anyone who will use it can access the Portal Function." Regina read the description.
After reading, Adam and Regina were shocked, finally the problem in Portal access in Regina's part are solved.
"Finally Mom, you can access the Mainframe Space individually without my help. I wonder if Dad also has a gift box, and if he have, I wish he also receive Portal Ring, and try to use it, so that he can still be with us back here when he is going to rest while on his journey." Adam said.
Regina nodded, she agreed of what her son said, that way, Sergei can continue to travel while with them at the same time.
After checking Regina's inventory, Adam ask Lilly an important question telepathically.
"Lilly, I know that there are lots of rooms here at the Mansion, I want to know if all of them are already accessible or it was needed to be unlocked using Gold, I remember that when I create this game, I make all the special rooms unaccessible on the start, and they are needed to be unlocked by buying the keys at the Shopping Window, using money. Now that we are transmigrated here, did the setting was still like the way I programed it or not." Adam asked.
"Young Master, I totally forgot to tell you, the Special Rooms in the Mansion are all unaccessible, There was also no keys at the Shopping Window, but I see a great Item, It was the Crest Medallion, I remember that this Crest Medallion is a special Key that can access the most Special Room in the whole Mansion." Lilly replied telepathically.
When Adam heared the word Crest Medallion, he feel so excited, because that Medallion is the most Important item in the Mansion, everyone can say that this is the key to everything inside the mansion, Adam made this kind of Item to create some thrills, The Mansion game is not just an ordinary simulation game Adam created, this Mansion Game has a lot of mysteries and puzzles, a gamer need to find out this mysteries and solve the puzzles to gain great rewards. And the great reward in finding the Crest Medallion is the rights to access the Mansion Editors Room, where the gamer can edit the designs and layout of the whole mansion building, the gamer can also unlock all the special rooms and mystery areas inside the Mansion using this Editor, so for the gamers who is lucky to find the Crest Medallion, he has a chance to become a game creator of his own mansion.
"Really, where is it, using that Medallion, we can modify the whole Mansion, we can even change the whole structure of the whole Mansion Building, unlock all the locked Rooms and Special Items." Adam asked excitedly.
"Young Master, first I just wanted to say that it was divided into two pieces, the inner part and the outer part, I was just not sure if you notice that it was the medallion, but I know you already saw it. It was held by the statue of Sulfus and Raf." Lilly said.
Adam was shocked, he came from that place a while ago, but he didn't notice that there's a medallion on their hands.
When Lilly saw Adam's expression, she knew, that he didn't notice it.
"According to your expression Young Master, I'm sure that you didn't notice it. I think you just look at the weapons on their hands, but you didn't see a simple errors at there statues. Sulfus was the Left Guardian of the Mansion, but on what hand did he wear his Claw Gauntlet, and for Raf, she was the Right Guardian, but what hand did she use in holding the bow, and also, did you notice that she is not holding an arrow at her right hand. Thats because on that respective hands, they are holding the Crest Medallion." Lilly Explained every details.
Adam slap his forehead
"I was so dumb, why did I forget the lore about the two statues, I almost lost my chance to get the Crest Medallion because of my carelessness, I only focus on perfections and and errors, I didn't even see a simple mistake." Adam thought to himelf while he slapping his forehead continuously.
"Adam, are you alright?" Regina was so confused of what her Son was doing, she saw her son shocked for a second, then excited, then thinking deep, and now slapping his own forehead.
When Adam heard his Mom, he came back to reality.
"I'am alright Mom, don't worry about me, I will leave first, I am just going to do something." Adam walk out of the kitchen and left the two girls.
"Weird." Regina commented, while Lilly slightly laugh.
"Lets go to work, please assist me and if you have a great idea, please don't hesitate to make some suggestions." Regina said.
"Yes Milady." Lilly Bowed.
"First thing you need to do is to show me how to use the different Appliances, it was really confusing, the words that they use in the descriptions and directions to operate are out of this world, I can't understand anything." Regina Explained.
"I understand Milady, but I have some suggestiins, what if we first go to the Recreational Area and I will show the Lady how to use every Appliances using the Models Items. On that way the Lady can see how to use them properly." Lilly Replied.
"That is a great idea, why did I forget that we have a model shop here. Hahaha, Alright, lets go to the Recreational Area first so that I can choose what Item is the best thing to buy." Regina became excited of their new activitiy.
Outside the Kitchen, Adam started to run, he hurriedly go outside the mansion and went to the "Sulfus' Garden", he want to get the outer part of the Crest Medallion right away, but he can't, the height of statue is 2.5 meters tall while he was just only less than 5 feet tall. He was hopeless so he contact Bleiz, the height of Bleiz was 6'1", it was not as tall as the statue but it still can work. After getting the Crest Medallion part, they go to the "Raf's Garden", he also let Bleiz to get the inner part of the Crest Medallion.
After getting the two parts, Adam combined it to create the whole Crest Medallion. When he was done in combining process he enter the mansion, and proceed at the front of a great painting at the middle of the twin staircase in the grand foyer, he pull out the painting on its place and a circular empty slot appeared,
He placed the Crest Medallion on the empty slot, and after a second, a mechanical sound started to ring, the wall where the painting was hanging before and where the Crest Medalion was placed started to shake, Adam wait fot a couple of minutes and when the mechanical sound started to go quiet, he push the wall where the Crest Medallion was placed and it moves, after it was pushed for almost 4 feet away from its original place, a ladder appeared.
Adam went down the Ladder with Bleiz, and after almost 10 minutes of climbing down, they arrive at the bottom. Adam look around and when he saw a door he entered.
Inside the room, Adam saw a little computer, he look at the contents of the computer and he saw the word "The Mansion Editor", he scroll down and he saw the tabs of the list of all Items and features that can be access early using the Editor. Some of the features that can be unlocked in this editor are the locked rooms, locked mystery areas, and locked special items, it has also a layout editor, where anyone can change the layout of the whole building. Adam didn't waste any time, he unlocked all the locked rooms, mystery areas, and special items. He chose this 3 things because it was the most important of all. He want to change the layout of the whole mansion, but he have lots of works to do, changing the layout of the Mansion can wait, but the great rewards in the Sub-Quest is not, he need to get the reward immediately because it can really help them.
After the changes he made, he and Bleiz exit the Editors Room and climb up the ladder.
"Alright, I already managed the important things of the mansion, let us really start the Gathering Materials for real."
"Yes Young Master" Bleiz reply.
"Mom will be so happy in the new list of DECORATIONS, ROOMS AND AREAS of the Mansion."
