Chapter 49: The Way Home
Kalan teleported Bardock and Yamoshi with him to Planet Namek.
"System you recorded down the Namekian language before right? Imprint it to my memories." Kalan said as he intended to personally call the Namekian dragon.
[Beep! The system has indeed recorded the Namekian language when host asked Anpa for the language. Deduction 1,000 System Points. Transfering data to host's memories...]
Suddenly Kalan felt a bunch of new memories in his head. He felt like he had know Namekian language since birth and could speak the language fluently.
"Wait here I'll gather the dragon balls." Kalan said as he pulled out the dragon radar from his storage space.
*Beep Beep* The dragon radar showed 7 dragon balls scattered around Planet Namek.
Kalan swiftly teleported around and gathered the dragon balls. He did not intend to once again go through unnecessarily trouble to explain why they are here or why they need the dragon balls.
"Either way, the Grand Elder will learn of it since he's the creator of the dragon balls." Kalan thought.
Kalan's power was way above the Namekians and he teleported so fast no one noticed anything wrong.
"So these are the dragon balls?" Yamoshi looked curiously at the giant golden balls Kalan had gathered.
#Come forth Porunga!# Kalan spoke in Namekian.
The giant dragon balls of Namek shone brightly, the light gathered together to form a gigantic green monster that looked like a fusion between a Namekian and a dragon. It had humanoid like upper body with 2 Namekian antennas, several black thorn's on it's head and shoulders and a lower body like Shenron. And it was much bigger than Shenron.
"Thou who hath gathered the dragon balls, now, speak forth thy wishes." Porunga spoke in the universal language. Even though it only listened to wishes spoken in Namekian it did not speak Namekian.
"I shall grant thee any three wishes that are within my capacity." Porunga continued.
#Porunga! We have unvoluntarily been brought to this timeline! Is there anyway for us to return to our timeline?# Kalan asked in Namekian.
"Unfortunately that wish is beyond my power. But I can help thy point to the path back to your timeline. All you need to do is find a space-time tunnel to return. I can see that your friend's body has been covered by my powers from another timeline. Is that fine?" Porunga asked. He could see that another him had covered Bardock's body with the power to teleport him to Planet Carefree. The wish which Kalan had wished for during his fight with Frieza.
"Do you think I'm cursed to fall into one space-time tunnel after another? I've already involuntarily been brought to 2 different timelines already..." Kalan cursed in his mind.
#Make that my first wish. But where do I find a space-time tunnel?# Kalan asked since if he could not find a space-time tunnel
*Burrrr* Porunga's red eyes shone brightly.
"Your wish has been granted." Porunga said. Bardock's body brightened up similar to how those who were about to be teleported away would look, but in less intensity.
"Space is in general very stable... In rare occurrences, some areas will become unstable for short amounts of time, if at that time a large concentration of energy is release. The space will distort and cause a space-time tunnel to appear." Porunga answered.
"In rare occurrences? I've already been brought into 2 space-time tunnels in just less than 1 year!! System am I cursed??" Kalan asked in exasperation.
[Beep! Host has the luck of collecting an ancient bloodline comparable to Gods due to this 'curse'.]
"Why does it feel you're making fun of me..." Kalan thought.
#Porunga are you able to find a place where space is unstable?# Kalan asked.
"This wish is easy." Porunga said as it's red eyes shone.
*Burrrr*
"Folded space are in general less stable, but the path connecting a space to a folded space is usually quite brittle. Your answer lies in the Room of Spirit and Time." Porunga spoke.
"There? It seems I need to blast a hole and stand in between the real world and the Hyperbolic Time Chamber... Normally you'll need someone around the level of a Super Saiyan 3... But luckily I have Yamoshi." Kalan thought. He needed to first blast a hole from the Time Chamber and then stand in the tunnel which leads to the real world. But not go past it to the real world. There, the space was unstable and they had a chance to distort space such that a space-time tunnel could appear.
"Now that I think about it... Couldn't I have returned to my time if I had only asked the Namek dragon before going to visit Planet Sadala...?" Kalan suddenly thought of his mistake.
#Thank you Porunga. My last wish is to receive Eternal Youth, that should allow me to Spawn Eggs without limit right?# Kalan made his last wish.
"That is correct, but be careful not to Spawn Eggs too often without rest. As overexerting yourself before recovering may cause your body to collapse leading to your death." Porunga had a good understanding of the Namekian's Spawn Egg ability.
*Burrrr* His red eyes shone once again as he granted Kalan's last wish.
A bright light fuse with Kalan's body as he felt endless vitality infuse his body.
"So this is Eternal Youth..." Kalan felt the changes to his body. He would still grow up to an adult, but not older. He knew the effects of Eternal Youth from Piccolo's life. He had grown up from a little kid to an adult after all.
"Your wishes have been granted. Farewell." Porunga said. His body glowed yellow and dissolved as the dragon balls gathered together and rose up in the air. They were going to fly away in different directions.
"Stay!" Kalan shouted as he used his Ki to wrap around the 7 dragon balls, stopping them from flying away.
"This is a bit rude... But it would be ruder to not put them back." Kalan mumbled. He quickly teleported the dragon balls back to it's original spots which were each in a village and one with the Grand Elder's house. The system had recorded down the positions and which star dragon balls.
"Kalan, so Spawn Egg uses up your lifespan?" Bardock asked surprised.
"Yeah, I used up 300 years of lifespan on Planet Sadala." Kalan answered.
"So much? We Saiyans usually only have a lifespan of 100 years!" Bardock exclaimed.
"Only 100 years? We Ancient Saiyans usually live several hundred years. I don't really know exactly how long but it would not be less than 500 years." Yamoshi stated.

In the Room of Spirit and Time, the door had disappeared because Kalan, Bardock and Yamoshi had all entered together. They moved away from the door so it would not get destroyed when they rip a hole in space.
"The air is really thin here." Yamoshi said, the gravity did not have the slightest effect on him.
"Yamoshi, we'll have to rely on you." Kalan said.
"No problem." Yamoshi nodded.
"Ha!" Yamoshi shouted. That was a Kiai, his Ki affected the air and a strong shockwave burst out in one direction. The space shook and a large hole was ripped open.
"That was easy." Kalan commented as it took a quite a bit of time for Gotenks to charge up his shout to blast a hole in space.
"Let's be careful not to step too far, the 'tunnel' is quite short, barely even half a meter long." Kalan observed the hole and said. If they stepped beyond they would step out of the tunnel and appear in the real world.
The trio quickly stepped into 'tunnel', there was no air inside and the space was mixed in purple and dark colors as the colors revolved. Yamoshi had learned all the martial arts Kalan knew so he also used Pal'Adian's space combat arts to stay inside the 'tunnel'.
"HAAAA!" Yamoshi shouted loudly as his massive quantity of energy shook the tunnel hard.
"HAAAAAAA!" Yamoshi continued as he saw the tunnel starting to distort. Sweat appeared on his forehead. It did not seem to be easy for him to distort the space even though Porunga had said it was 'quite brittle'.
Yamoshi continued blasting out with all his energy. After a long 5 minutes, the space shook hard and distorted into a vortex that spun slowly.
"Quick enter!" Yamoshi said weakly and jumped in first. The vortex was slowing down and about to dissipate. Kalan and Bardock quickly jumped in.
The inside looked very similar to the space-time tunnels Kalan had traveled through before. Bardock's body glowed and the white light covering his body seemed to be pulling towards a direction.
"That way!" Bardock said as he pointed in a direction. In the end, Both Kalan and Bardock were too weak to move in the space-time tunnel. Yamoshi was the only one strong enough to move in the tunnel. Yamoshi slowly swum towards the direction Bardock pointed while he pulled the two with him. It was an arduous journey impossible for both Bardock and Kalan to travel on their own.

I decided to end Kalan's adventures. As it would kill all the development he has in his timeline. Idk why I listened to the guy making the comment about bardock going back in time T-T
