Chapter 2: A Pair of Adorable Cubs
"Umm, system we don't care about the stats...but wow, aren't we already powerful. Haa, either ways we'll be taking a short nap, so goodnight...….Zzzz"

Anubis came back into the room and checked to see if he missed out on anything. As he glanced towards the middle of the room, disappointment flashed across his face when he saw the broken egg. He had missed the egg hatching. But when his eyes landed on the two black and white fur balls curled up next to it. His disappointment turned into surprise and happiness as he realized that there was not one but two wolf cubs!
"Eh, I have two younger siblings?! Plus they are extremely adorable! Mom did you pick a name for them, otherwise I'd love to." Anubis could not contain his happiness as his face twisted into a charming smile. He loves adorable things and his younger siblings were much, much more lovely than most of the species he had encounter. He continued staring at the overwhelming cuteness before him as a euphoric expression surfaced across his soft gray face.
"This..." Celeste was still in shock as if her eyes were glued to the pair of cubs sleeping soundly near broken pieces of egg shells, she didn't even hear he son as she fell into a daze.
"Son, it seems your mother is shocked, she has a delicate heart and this event was not something she expected so I'll need to calm her down. As for names its okay for you to pick one, but could you please bring the children to their assigned room? " Ravi gestured Anubis to leave with the two cubs as he pulled his wife onto his chest.
"Yes father and how exactly do you hold cubs, I have no experience or any kind of knowledge related to nursing."
Ravi eyes widened in amusement as he stared at his silly son who, for some reason, held a rather serious expression on his face. 'Oh my, he's not kidding.' He then closed his eyes and signed with a small smile. "You can carry them in your jaws or place them on your back, just don't drop them."
"Oh, that's all I'll have to do? "Anubis said as he walked gleefully towards the sleeping cubs, his tail swayed happily from side to side while he carefully picked them up and placing them onto his back. He turned around bowing towards his mother and father respectfully before leaving the room and entering a long hallway.
Ravi look at his son's retreating back as various thoughts clouded his mind. 'Maybe I should find a babysitter.'

After leaving the room, Anubis glanced at the sleeping cubs on his back, making sure they wouldn't fall off.
"They're so cute and adorable, but now lets head over to their room, on second thought maybe I shouldn't because its was designed by mother and anything she makes...is bound to be horrific." The young gray wolf stopped in front of a huge marbled door, preparing himself for the worst. He then pushed the door open with his left paw and took a cautious step inside.
As he stepped into the room, his face scrunched up and paled instantly. Inside and to the left of the room, mountains of ancient bones could be seen stacked atop of one another as violent blue flames flickered above a small black framed bed as random screams or laughter echoed from one end to another. To the right, there were bloody round lumps of deformed beasts and nine creepy dolls with inky black hair sitting next to it. All nine dolls shifted their heads towards Anubis when he walked in and stared at him with their lifeless red eyes, making the fur on his body rise.
"Why would mother think that these disturbing things can be put inside a room where a child will be sleeping and why do those creepy-ass dolls keep staring at me?! I feel sick, this hell-bent room is not good for my heart. Ah, lets get out."
Anubis quickly ran out of the room while shutting the door with a bang and walked back down the hallway. He glanced at the cubs on his back and smiled warmly. "Should I bring them into my room, it's much safer there then in that room. They'll just have them rest on my bed and before they wakeup I should finish some of my homework. Ugh, why would father send me to that magic school that was the size of a human colosseum? Its to small for me and I hate having to shrink in size just to fit inside. Did the founder not know that there are some species that are 300 meters in height and higher? Sign.....plus they give out too many assignments."
After passing by some doors, Anubis arrived at the entrance to his room. He walked in and placed the cubs gently onto his king sized bed that was placed neatly at the center of his room. Anubis's room was clean and orderly, but a huge stack of books and papers were littered all over the floor rug. His ears drooped as he looked at it with a gloomy expression. He reluctantly walked over to the heap of books and layed on his stomach. A textbook at the top of the pile floated down towards him as it magically opened and flipped to the first page before him. Anubis started reading as a piece of paper and a feathered pen and ink jar appeared beside him. The tip of the feathered pen dipped into the ink, it hovered above the paper and started drawing strange letters onto it.
