Chapter 4: Nobody can carry you but me.
Kiara climbed the little stool and she looked up through the window. Tang Wei and James were terrified and tried to pull her down. They even covered her eyes. She unblocked her view by pulled down their hands. They kept blocking her view until she was totally annoyed. She jumped down from the stool and then she walked away. She walked with her wounded leg.
Tang Wei and James thought she would gave up then they both continued to watch Dingxiang and Alice from the kitchen. Little did they know, they would never thought they would saw the little bear would go outside and went straight to Dingxing and Alice.
"What the h*ll! What was she doing there?!" James elevated his both hand on his head. His eyes were almost went out! They both did not know what to do. The kitchen went topsy-turvy as the both of them could not imagined what happened afterward.
While at the colourful yard with the beautiful lights, Alice and Dingxiang were having their small talked. Dingxiang was looking for everybody because there was only him and Alice with the soft song on air "Flightless bird" continuation from the previous catchy song played from the mp3 on the audio box placed at the corner earlier.
He was obviously not comfortable with the atmosphere. Alice tried hard to get topics to make him talking. He just answered once or just nodded. Suddenly when a hand patted him from the back he looked instantly.
"Can I look at you shoulder?" A voice broke and he was absolutely felt riant and smiled.
"Come and sit here." he gestured her to sit next to him. He showed his injured shoulder to her.
Suddenly Kiara's eyes bag filled with tears and her face was about to break a cry. Her face looked so sad and 1, 2, 3… She started bawling and hugged his arm.
While in the kitchen, the boys felt such at a loss for Dingxiang because Kiara became the third wheels (as what they thought) in that moment.
"Shhh..shhh.. don't cry. I'm alright. Let me see you foot." Dingxiang tried to divert her lugubriousness.
"Oh!" she upraised her right foot and rested it on the bench next to Dingxiang. The mark was long enough to be seen. He grabbed the ointment on the table which was used to him earlier. He applied it on her foot.
"Big brother Teddy already put them on me just now." She explained to him.
"Its okay, this one is from me." He said and carefully applied the balm to her.
Alice who was sitting in front of them was totally ignored by the two of them. She was totally surprised to see the other side of Dingxiang. She was smirking and thinking of something. She crossed her leg and drank some of the orange juice.
"Oh it was getting late. I think I better get going now." She said suddenly to get their attention. Dingxiang looked at her with a glance and then continued to look at Kiara.
"Walk her home Dingxiang." A voice broke out from the back. As Teddy said it he was walking to them.
"I want to send her too!" Exclaimed Kiara.
"Sure if you can carry yourself ." Said him and tried to scoop her in his arm.
"No!" she clung herself to Dingxiang. Even though he was not a big as Teddy who was 190 ft tall, Dingxiang also had a broad shoulder and fit body. With his 180 ft tall and beautiful muscles. Perfectly body for a young man to posses.
"Let's go together. I can carry you. Let's go Alice!" suggested Dingxiang and smiled. Alice who was looking at his smile was getting molten and her knees were getting weaken.
Looking at the willingness Dingxiang bringing his little bear along with them, he suddenly spoke up.
"I'll go too." He carried his little bear- a piggy back. "Nobody can carry you alright. Only your big brother." He blurted out while looking at Dingxiang disagreed with his action.
