Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Scarlett
There was a knock on the door, and the sweet voice was heard from the other side of the door which was obviously calling for him.
"Your highness, I have brought meal for you."
The owner of the voice was his personal maid, who was originally calling for him to take the morning meal. Now to think about it, he was so immersed in the original owner's memory and forgot about the time, he spent on the thinking of counter measures to hunt for more ferocious animals. He was so engrossed in it, that he didn't notice the morning sunshine on his face from the top roof of the castle. He immediately put those thoughts in the back of his mind and called out for her.
"Come in"
. After hearing the kings order she immediately opened the door, she has fair complexion with white skin such as snow, eyebrows like a crescent moon, slim waist, long narrow legs ,although her age was slightly smaller than him, she has already shown the future of the beauty embryo. She was the daughter of the previous kings subordinate, the subordinate also died with his father a year ago in the hunting expedition, from then on she was working here, and original owner always treats her as his sister. Though she always try to distance herself away from him because of the difference in there status.
Some people may think that if he treats her as his sister then why bother make her his personal maid. The previous owner was a good hearted king; he knows that if he didn't give her a good social status in his palace, then those people outside the palace were ready to slaughter this helpless orphan girl. There was not a single kingdom, which was born without the internal contradiction between the people in the empire. There were many people present in the Astral Empire who wanted to dethrone him from his position as a king. His father as well as various previous kings treated every person in the empire equally and treated soldiers from the hunting squad as a family, because of this there was not rebel or any kind of big contradiction between the people living in empire and him. He also didn't want her to be involved in this whirlpool so he gave her the position as his personal maid. He just wants her to live a peaceful life. Because of his status there were very few people who could talk to him freely but those were all old people. She was the only one; he could free his heart which was filled with the infinite loneliness.
Scarlett wimbalston entered the room, and saw the king Garry whose face was reflecting under the morning sunshine with a faint smile hung on his lips. He just look like the son of the God and was reflecting the sacred atmosphere around him. Somehow seeing today's king Garry, scarlet's heart jumped a few times and she was in daze looking at that face who was always familiar to her and now look like just a different person not physically, but also his aura was new to her. He was always handsome, but today's him gave her the feeling like an otherworldly person, standing above top of all the myriad things in the universe. His aura was amiable but hard to approach, so she was like a statue, stood there in daze looking at him unbelievably.
The space time energy not just remove toxins from his body ,but also improve all his physique ,and the structure of his body was destroyed and rebuild again and again, because it tends to gave him the perfect constitution for the battling. It drive all the impurities from his body as well as healed the injuries which he was suffering from the battles that took place with the ferocious beasts. Because of the space time energies which remain from the earlier treatment, his temperament was like an otherworldly godhead person. It will gone after the full transformation of his body have taken place. He can also feel that some of the energies are not fully digested by the body because the body has gone into the saturation state. If it was to absorb all the energies, it may take the longer time duration. The most attracting thing to others is the eyes of him who could suck away the souls of the people by just looking at them. Most of the girls will be fascinated by his eyes. Garry was also embarrassed by the sight in front of him, the girl will be looking at you so intently, so he was very embarrassed .To prevent this situation from escalating further out of control, he coughed up a little bit and called out for her.
"Scarlett, what have you done for me today?"
When Scarlett heard my words, she snapped out of her daze zone which was shown by her a moment ago, but her entire face was dyed red until the corner of her ear, by blushing. So she answered him somewhat stutteringly.
"Yes your highness, I have brought eggs and skewered meat from your yesterdays expedition, and the bottle of the milk".
He was looking at her with a smile on his face, somehow how her small trick was seen through by him Scarlett was totally flustered and she bowed her head while looking at the ground of the palace and keep fidgeting the end of her dress without making a sound. Garry also realize his mistake and stop teasing the Scarlett any further and move away from place where he was standing and goes towards her step by step without making sound of the footsteps. When he was near her ,he moved his hand and caressed her silky smooth hair which were up to her waist and moved her face which was close to the ground to the front of his face. Her body trembled a bit because of his sudden movement and somewhat intimate contact with person of the opposite gender, but still she move her face in front of him. Now that he take a closure look at her, she has little face without makeup which could match-up those big stars from his original world. She may not know, but when she grew up her beauty would be unmatched by other person. Garry called for her once again to make the fun of her. Somehow to tease the little girl in front of him made his mood much better.
"Hey.....Scarlett why your face is so red and is it that you have fever ,if so then why are you coming to work in high fever!"
"No....your highness nothing ...I don't have a fever...it's just that because of the hurried process from the morning, I was just out of breath...so was my face looks red in color"
Her answer to my question was stuttering as well and made of the lies. But he didn't destroy those lies of her, in front him she just look like a little kid who was trying to hide her mistake sneakily from her parents. When the answer to his question was given, she was once again bowed her head and tried not to make contact with his gaze who can easily saw through her lies. He finally decided not to tease her any further or so she would hurry out of the room because of her embarrassment.
From her entering into the room he was just not teasing her, he was trying to lighten up the atmosphere and somehow tried her to not to remember his original identity as the king of the Astral Empire. Because he has some questions want to ask her, but due to the habit of hers which was always take burden on herself and tried not to cause other people to worry for themselves is her innate nature. She was very kind hearted girl, in the original owners memory she never tried to show the injury during playing with others, so not to cause her parents worried for herself. The original owner was also a teenager, so he didn't fully believe those words, but now with his original mature outlook toward the world he can also found out that she was good at hiding her pain from the others .Now that she was in too much pain herself ,but she was never willing to depend on the other people. These maybe due to her living environment from childhood that cause her to have developed this kind of attitude towards the life of hers. Her eyes were devoid of impurities, she was always helping others while not caring for herself. She may not know, but it is good thing if there are others to look out for you, this will not make you weak but grow stronger with the help of others. A lone man can't fight an army all by himself; he also must have his subordinates. Now the atmosphere was relaxed so he finally asked the question which was bugging him from all the time.
"Scarlett anyone has tried to bully you while I was gone to the hunting expedition?"
"No your highness, how could people bully me when was I selected as your personal maid" she answered my questions quickly compared to the first questions which I asked for her, as if this question's answer was memorized by her intentionally. And the tone of her voice was steady, and expression was placid but she didn't try to meet my gaze and avoid it intentionally.
