Chapter 13: Early Departure
All the visitors were escorted out of the hall very quickly and the only remaining people left inside were Raygen, his wife, Leo and Ryou. Marie knelt beside her husband who was carrying their unconscious child and she too felt powerless.
"I just promised myself that I will protect and won't let you suffer no more. Now, here you are, dying again in front of me." When Raygen saw the black spots slowly covering his son's hands, he recalled the symptoms of a man poisoned with Black Ash.
Black Ash is a liquid type of ingredient used to compliment certain type of 'cooling' medicines to prevent the mana from going berserk. However, this ingredient can be fatal when ingested or directly applied on a human.
Actually, Raygen has an antidote stored if something like this happened to him, most importantly right now that he was receiving massive wealth from the dungeons. The only problem is, you need to be awake and ready to control your mana for the antidote to work, if not, the poison will just cling on the bloodstream until the antidote loses it's effect. Leo is already lying their unconscious, and to make matters worse, he doesn't even know how to manipulate mana yet.
"Raygen what's happening to our son? What do you mean he's dying again? Who is trying to kill him? He is just a child." Marie is startled by her husband's words, and she assumed that his son is a target of multiple killing attempts in the past the she didn't know of until today.
" We can discuss this later, both of you. Now, Raygen do you have some kind of antidote on you?"
"Yeah .... but this"
"I know what you want to say. Trust me and give to him."
Raygen finally saw a ray of hope and quickly produce a green gem and administered the antidote to his son. The black spots instantly stopped spreading out.
"This enemy is really sinister indeed, he has no difficulty hurting this child, my disciple. The truth is, I really can't save him, not now that my magic foundation is damaged."
Both Marie and Raygen felt very weak hearing this coming from Ryou. They thought that not even this powerful man can save their little boy, then are they just waiting for him to die?
"I told you I will leave today, that's because I want to heal myself and to where I am going, I have the utmost confidence that I'll be healed in about five years.... and the probability of your son being saved there is high. I need to take him there, but he might not return for a long time. Even if you refuse now, I will take him by force even if you hate me in the end. This is not a negotiation, you need to say your goodbyes for now."
Raygen was startled for a while before he turned his head towards his wife and nodded as a sign of his approval. Marie started crying seeing this and was heartbroken by these turn of events.
Marie took off her necklace and put it on Leo.
"As long as he is alive, please do whatever you need to do."
"Please, I beg of you, bring him back alive." Raygen brought out a dagger and gave it to Ryou.
"I promise you, I'll return him home and he will be the one to exact his vengeance. I will do everything in my power to teach him everything I know. We will return, and we will crush the people who tried to kill him today. I swear it on my life."
"For now, don't do anything stupid. Just keep developing this town and try to establish a stronger army. By the look of things, our enemy is trying to weaken you by doing this assasination. They want what you have so be alert. When I return, not even your king will stop me and your child from getting revenge.
Ryou kept the dagger away and picked up the boy. He opened a gate before leaving a reassuring smile to the two people behind him and finally entered.

Ryou arrived on a place surrounded by white sand and there is a structure, supported by four huge pillars with a flat roof with no walls, right in the middle.
He walked towards the structure and laid the young boy in there.
"Casanova, I need your help."

castielshanarie Guys I have been sick for four days so I had trouble trying to release updates. Now that I'm very much okay, I will start updating again. I will release more chapter for IA3 for now so that it will make things equal yo the chapters for JJMage before I update it again.
