Chapter 2: Tempting but restricting myself
I look at her and I felt a sudden rush of emotion from me. The unexpected feeling my heart started to raise and with an unknown reasons the dripping of sweat from my face awakened my vampire self but as I go nearer to her neck I can't take off my eyes from her lips. That soft and puffy pink lips touch mine and I couldn't think straight after that incident happen a minute ago after she fell asleep on top of me. In the company they suspect me as a gay because I didn't experience any relationship with anyone. They keep on spreading that fake news because honestly as the CEO of Clark Company there were no issues about me dating someone. Beside of the first reason that I am a vampire I didn't feel the love thing that they said never in my entire life. But this girl really captivates my inner self that is sleeping somewhere inside. I can't look at her lips so I just lay her on the sofa and cover with a blanket.
I go to my room without consuming her blood because of unknown reason in me. I didn't felt hungry or thirsty at all. I just fall asleep as well and didn't realize the time.
The face of this girl keeps popping into my mind. I always saw her outside the office but never met her in person because of many circumstances. I don't know this feeling but my original plan was to consume her blood but I failed because of that kiss.
The morning comes and I wake up on my bed and take a bath. I forgot the idea that the woman was outside sleeping on the sofa. After taking a bath wearing a boxer shorts and topless I went to eat a breakfast already. On my way to the kitchen I bump to someone. Then I realize I that last night I brought a girl inside the house. She looks at me and I can't look at her directly because the sudden flash of the kiss comes to my mind and I felt uncomfortable.
Did you get up early? I asked and she replied yes. I guide her to the kitchen and let her seat for a while because it's too early thankfully the maids are not woken up yet. I get the vegetables and prepared it to be cooked. After a fast cooking technique of course I use my speed ability to cook fast because she is waiting for it. The delicious viand aroma spread all over the kitchen.
I put the dish to the two plates for us to enjoy it ourselves. She also accepts the plate and silently eats without asking anything. I wonder if she could remember what happened that night to us. She started eating and asked her for a moment if the dish is delicious then she said it was fine. After we finished eating I drove her back to her house. I discovered the location if where she is living and after that I go directly to the company for work.
Renz my assistant was early that day and notice my mood as he usually do at work. But for today he could sense my uneasiness and tried to ask me about it but I didn't respond to him.
I keep thinking that she didn't even talk to me after I brought her home in the morning and this day I felt so down because of that I didn't know if what is really wrong with me.
----a sudden splash of sea water makes the small fishing boat wet and someone is calling to the name "Tan!" I need to look out for him an average teenage girl in her 18 years of age is stunning without even putting on make ups. She is Georgia the boyish sister of Tan. She followed her brother under the sea and look for him. It was already about 10 minutes when she rose again from the water. The way she flips her hair is such a beauty but the worried face is spreading all over her face. She knows that they went fishing for their sick mother while their father was away from home to support their daily living but now that his brother is missing underwater is really a disaster.-----
I look at my watch and hurriedly take a bath. This is insane I overslept again and my head is spinning. I arrive home in that early morning. I just lay on the bed and didn't realize to forget something very important that I have to do. I opened my laptop and quickly type as fast as I can. The very significant presentation today is going to be ruined because of me. I grab my toothbrush and do the stuff that I need to do before rushing outside the house, waving for a taxi to take me to the company. I'm doomed. I got panicked and forget to change my slippers into shoes. Oh' my, this is ridiculous.
