Chapter 16: Flashback (1)
-Flashback-
Lucy sat on an abandon car, staring into space. Alex came up to her complaining,
"Lucy, I can't see a damn thing with your fog so damn thick"
Lucy turned in the direction of the voice, "Alex?"
Alex was apologetic, "Sorry Roger couldn't come this time."
"That's ok Al, he can come next time." Lucy tried to be optimistic and hugged him. She felt a hot sticky substance on Alex, it was blood, she already knew Alex did something no good
"So these are new" Lucy touched Alex's wounds that were still gushing blood. She tightened her hug until you heard a crack, "You what are you go and break my rules now wouldn't you....?ALEX!"
Alex was slammed down with force.
"Sorry Lucy"
Lucy pulled Alex inside, "Just come inside so I can clean you up" Lucy started bandaging Alex with force, he knew she was angry
"C'mon Lucy that I was sorry. What do you expect? Me to avoid fights all together?" Alex explained
Lucy didn't answer but Alex already knew the answer. He continued explaining, " being under the human realm and midrealm you would have to be ready for a fight"
Lucy interupped, "Hey Al....."
"Yeah?"
"When can you guys come home" Lucy's voice went sadder
"Remember when we first found you?" Alex asked
"Sorta"
"Seeing you like that, proved you didn't need to be in this kind of life" Alex said while gently touching Lucy's cheek
