Nimm woke with a shock, he felt really light, so much so, that when he pushed himself up, he flew back a bit before falling back to the ground. When he got up, slowly this time, he tested out his movements.
After he got the hang of it, he realized his parents weren't around he called out. After a while, he realized that they weren't there and started crying.
And after that, his stomach rumbled, so he started walking on a path he found while moving around.
He walked for a long time.
He eventually found a building, so he walked towards it. It was a weird building, it wasn't made out of wood or stone, it was an unnatural grey. When he walked in, he saw a bunch of people sitting in wide chairs. He then smelled something, it was a purple watery thing. They started passing it out to the sitting people, so he sat down at the end of one of the weird, wide chairs, and waited.
When the purple stuff came to him, he realized there were some dry bread things as well.
He tried both of the things, and he liked them, so he started drinking the rest of the purple juice and ate the bread, the people around him were giving him weird looks and whispered things to each other.
He didn't care, because once he was finished eating and drinking, he felt this weird thing in him. It felt like a slow dripping.
But before he investigated this, the people now said something to him. But he didn't know what they were saying. His face gave it away, so two people came and signalled him to come with them. He hesitated at first but eventually followed. He was led to a room where there were books, toys, and pictures all around.
He was allowed to play with the toys, and while he played, the people left and returned with another person.
He was an old man with kind eyes, he looked at Nimm with confusion at first, but then started asking questions in a couple of different languages, none that Nimm knew.
He sighed and gave up trying to ask questions, and he got a board from another room. He wrote a bunch of symbols, 26 to be exact. He pointed at the first one, which looked like this 'A' when he pointed at it, then pronounced it. After he did, he repeated this and pointed at Nimm, signalling for him to copy, so Nimm did. This was repeated until Nimm pronounced all the symbols.
This was Nimm's first language lesson.
Lol, the change from 60 words to almost 500 amuses me. Also, I'm sorry for writing in chunks, if anybody can tell me how to not do that, I will change it immediately.
Thanks for reading :).
