Chapter 4: Various Scheme in the Aftermath
*In some place in upper realm*
There are quite a group of beings with quite awe inspiring presence.
Their figure sat in each of their designated chair with aura full of pride and lofty.
However their face can't hide their confusions and anxiousness.
This is because a little while ago they feel the presence of unknown godly power that rival their power.
Moreover this power has unknown potential that may grow to be threat to them, not to mention there is not only one but three of this power.
To add insult to their injury, this power even detected in lower realm.
They try to seek the origins of this power but they only detect this power for a moment before some kind of shield or barrier mask its power making them unable to track it.
That's why currently all this godly beings gather in this majestic hall to hold a meeting that discuss this unknown power.
While each of this beings discuss their own private discussion with their acquaintance suddenly a majestic voice reverberate through the whole hall.
"Be quiet please. For now let me as an adjudicator in this hall to formally start this meeting"
A being with charismatic presence stood up in the far end of the tables.
"I'm sure that all of you feel it. An unknown power, no, three unknown power that's very powerful and even rival us detected i the lower planes"
All other beings start to gather their attention to this charismatic person.
"However, it's useless for us to trying to find the source of this power. After all we only detected its presence for a moment before abruptly its source is masked and make us unable to locate it" said this adjudicator.
"But sir, this matter is of utmost importance to us. Currently three kind of powers are detected in lower planes. It's highly possible that this powers already be held by a single people, most likely a mortal. I can't stand the thought that a mortal possees three godly powers that could rival even us! That's why we should locate it and if possible snatch this power." a person with a noble attitude said with a hint of greed in his face.
"And how should we locate it mister greedy toad?" said an alluring woman with a sneer.
"Forget about trying to locate it, all information that we know is that this power exist in lower planes. Don't forget that power structure in this entire realms are like pyramid. Our positions are in the highest summit in upper realm that dominate other realms. As for other lower planes of existance, their amounts are unquantifable and this sums are increase the more lower the planes are" said the woman.
"The miss is correct. Trying to search entire lower planes are impossible since this is akin to search a needle in the infinite universe. Moreover this powers are masked from our detections, so trying to rely on our weaker subordinates will be futiled since they'll not be able to identify it" said other random person.
The adjudicator the give suggestion,
"Then how about this. We'll relay a notice to all of our subordinates to keep an eye to anyone that seems to possess outstanding powers. This way even if the suspects are massive, at least we can narrow it down for us to identify"
After a bit of argument here and there, the other divine beings finally agree with the adjudicator's suggestions, and start to mobilize their underlings.
After all the beings left the hall, there is only an adjudicator left to sit in the hall.
"Shadow, what kind of opinions do you have about this unknown powers that suddenly appear out of nowhere?"
Suddenly from behind the adjudicator, a shadow like person appear out of thin air.
"Your majesty, I think it's highly suspicious that this power suddenly appear in lower planes. The possiblity that other godly beings involved in this matter is very low. After all, who's want to suddenly out of nowhere bestow this power to mortal while they can use this power themself to gain supremacy in the upper realms", said the shadow.
"You're right. Not to mention if hypothetically my other peers want to bestow this power to mortal, the least consequence is their power will be degraded or even fallen from the grace. Since there're no news of my peers fallen, then they're most likely have nothing to do with this matter"
After saying that the adjudicator relax his posture in contemplation.
'The question is, if my peers have nothing to do with this then who's the real culprit that bestow this power to the mortal? There's no way it appear out of thin air. In that case among all the possibility that I speculate, there is one most valid explanation that more make sense. The being that grant this powers is much more powerful than me or my other peers. So much powerful that I can't possibly fathom its power' thought the adjudicator with sweats in his face.
'However in that case, the fact that there is a being that much powerful than us means that there are higher planes that exist above our planes. It looks like my speculation is correct, there is always a higher sky above sky. My peers are fool for believing that their existances are the most supreme'
The adjudicator close his eyes for a moment, then open it again.
"Shadow, mobilize all of my subordinates to find any outstanding person with with suspicious ability. I must be the one who get this person"
"Yes, your majesty", the shadow then disappear out of thin air.
'Hehehe, All this time I keep speculating about the higher planes. This mortal existance will be my proof, and quite possibly my ticket to pry open the door to to reach the higher realms'
The adjudicator, then get up from his chair and walk away leaving a desolate hall in silence.
