Chapter 5: Awaken
"Sig you better catch up, times running out!"
"You don't have to tell me!" I said while running even faster.
"Ok, then slowpoke!" Glynd said, dashing even faster. I couldn't keep up and before I knew it we reached a place where there was a waterfall.
"Whaddya think?" Glynd looked at me smiling.
"It's just like the stories," I tell him stiff faced. Glynd all of a sudden started running toward the lake of the waterfall, took off his clothes and jumped in.
*SPLASH*
water splashed everywhere almost reaching me.
"Man, the water feels good." His head popped out of the water. I bend down and gather some mud and throw it at him.
"Jump in CHICKEN FEET" he yelled, dipping his head back in the water escaping my mudball.
"BOOGER FACE!" I scream as I start to run to jump in, I take my clothes off while running.
*SPLASH"
water flew everywhere.
"I win my splash was bigger." Glynd's head pops out of the water just to taunt me.
"No, I won," I tell him back.
"Ok, whatever." He laughs, I hear chicken feet after.
"Wanna play a game?" He asks me.
"What game?" I look at him.
"Let's see who can hold their breaths the longest." He says while having a goofy expression."
"Ok then, but the loser has to listen to the winner for a week," I say back to him.
"Whatever floats your boat."
We move to the center of the water, we look at each other and dive into the water.
I see a blurry image of Glynd as he waves at me, I wave back at him trying to look like I'm not out of breath, I hope he falls for it. It looks like he didn't fall for it instead he dives even deeper. While looking at his body getting even more wiggly and blurry, I start feeling pain in my chest and my throat feeling the need to breathe, I swim up as fast as I can. I breathe the moment I reached the surface and I start to swim out of the water. There's a big flat rock on the lakeshore which faces the lake, I walk towards the rock and lie on it. The rock is hot from the sun but it feels good on my wet body, I lay there waiting for Glynd to come up. After what seems to be forever I get up and jump in the water.
*SPLASH*
Water splashes everywhere and I dive in and look around. I try to go deeper but my ear hurts so I swim to the surface. My heart is beating fast making hard for me to breath and I start to cry.
"GLLLYYYND! I scream,
"GLYND come up!" my voice starts to hurt.
"Glynd." I shout once more.
