Chapter 3: To the City
The next day Rob and I met up at the place we decided last night before he went home, once we met up we went to the bus station to catch the bus to the city. Rob was sweet enough to buy our tickets even though I had bought enough money to pay for them, I was so happy that I just wanted to kiss him but I didn't because I wanted to take it slow and if I was to kiss him now I would want more.
We sat on the bus for the 40 minute trip to the city and went straight to Jodie's place, thankfully I had called her the night before and told her that I was coming to visit so I knew she would be home.
When we got there she was surprised that Rob was with me and asked "Is he the one who got you pregnant?"
I couldn't help but laugh "No, he's my boyfriend as of yesterday but he's been there for me since before I found out I was pregnant."
Jodie was happy that her little Sophie had someone who she can rely on. "So what made you want to visit me might I ask?" Jodie decided it was best to just be straight up with things.
"I need your help" Sophie told her. At this Jodie decided to make drinks for us and talk about it while relaxing in her lounge. While we were ment to be relaxing I was just getting more nervous and was struggling to talk about my decision but Rob and Jodie never pressured me so I started to feel safe.
"I want to get an abortion but I don't want mum or dad involved they have just been arguing and pressuring me to do what they want" I told them. Jodie and Rob both smiled and told me they would help, I was so happy I cried and thanked them over and over.
Jodie rang a confidential abortion clinic and explained to them the situation, she managed to get an appointment for that afternoon. We had 3 hours to kill before the appointment so we went for a walk in the park.
