Next day the entire city was there to pay the final respect to the deceased. All the powerful business magnets were present. The person looking most sad was Mr. Luke Hastings.Everyone could easily tell that he was most devastated.It was no surprise for the elites as everyone knew Mr. Hastings and Mr. Evans were great friends despite being biggest rivals.
However, only Liam knew the true colours of Mr. Hastings.He was no friend of Mr. Evans he just wanted to merge Ava International with Hastings Enterprises.Hastings knew that Mr. Evans didn't have any capable heir to lead Ava International so he expected latter to leave the company in his care.
Liam wanted to warn Mr. Evans but didn't have the heart to break his trust on his only friend. Mr. Evans secretly wished Amy to marry Ryan his friend's grandson to solidify this friendship. This dream of his may come true as both Amy and Ryan were really close. Liam didn't know what to think of their friendship, whether it was true or Ryan was cheating Amy just like his grandfather.
Suddenly the silent hall was filled with chattering. It pulled Liam out of his thoughts.He went to the entrance to see what was the commotion about. He felt a headache coming when he saw drunk Amy coming to the funeral supported by Ryan.
