"Commander Shadis, we are nearing our location. Your instructions?" a crew member saluted, tactfully omitting the word "Lieutenant."
"That's Lieutenant Commander Shadis, and you can relax. We'll get there in no time," Shadis replied with a gentle expression, concealing a boosted ego.
"Yes, Commander!" Oblivious to the title slip, the crew saluted and departed.
Chuckling on the deck, Shadis suddenly spotted a suspicious vessel through his binoculars. Upon recognizing the flag featuring a skull with thick lips—the emblem of the notorious Big Lips Pirates—Shadis raised the alarm.
"Big Lips Pirates are here! Prepare for combat! Ready the cannons!" His shout, infused with a Blue Brand aura, sent the entire fleet into a frenzy.
The warriors from the sects and schools readied themselves upon hearing about the impending encounter with the infamous Big Lips Pirates. The seas around Balrog Kingdom were known for pirate activity, and while these pirates might not rival the experts of the Glory Continent, they posed a significant threat elsewhere.
The Big Lips Pirates, affiliated with an organization calling themselves the "4 Yonkos," were among the most formidable pirates in the seas of Balrog Kingdom.
On a ship controlled by the Sing Family, Lei Sing observed the unfolding spectacle with amusement. "Oh, what's this? A pirate? Hahaha~ isn't this like a scene from a popular 'manga' on Earth?"
"Manga? I don't have time for those; I was still active in my gaming career when I died. Must be fun being a retired pro, huh?" replied Brother Xiu, a teen with a slightly puffy face and delicate hands, indicating his penchant for evening activities.
"Come on, Brother Xiu, you're being bitter again. Isn't it fun being famous for ten whole years with that one game you loved?" Lei remarked casually, enjoying the unfolding chaos on the seas.
"If my personally built team, 'Magnificent Era,' hadn't betrayed me, I'd still be the league champion," Mei Xiu muttered, clenching his fist.
Known as Mei "The Textbook" Xiu, he was an "immortal" pro gamer who had dominated a particular game for a decade. Renowned for his uncanny tactics, he earned the title of "The Textbook" in the game "Pride."
Lei, filled with yearning and excitement, suggested, "After you sort out this family matter, join me on an adventure! Let's explore the world, gain fame, and even become pirates like in One Piece, dress like Shinigamis, or become Ninjas! It'll be fun!"
Although tempted to agree, Xiu felt compelled to repay the kindness his family had shown him after his reincarnation. "Alright, boys, prepare for a raid! Hahaha." Carn "The Butcher" Pudge, a burly dark-skinned man with sideburns, an ugly face, and a scar over his left eye, responded. As a branch leader of the Big Lip Pirates, he had strolled near the island when the disturbance occurred. Known as a ruthless pirate who killed and stole without mercy, he bore a tattoo of a large bloodied hook weapon on his left chest—a symbol of his infamous reputation.
