Chapter 4: ch.3 Is it really fate?
* Marika finally hears the ding to the elevator and smiled when the door opens. As she was about to take a step into through the door she was suddenly pushed aside by someone.*
??: Augh, how dare you get in my way?"*a girl who looks to be a year younger than her was glaring down at Marika who was on the floor*
*hearing these words, Marika looks up and sees a girl with light brown flowing long hair with fierce eyes. She stood up and dusts herself off and bows slightly in a polite manner.* "I'm sorry i didn't mean to get in your way. But you know its rude to just push others"
"What did you just say? Do you have any proof i pushed you?"*The girl glares more at Marika, but before she can say anything this brown haired girl interrupted her*" Do you even know who i am? I am THE eldest miss of Crow mansion. how dare a lowly peasant like you talk to me at all. I suggest you go back to the dirt hole you came from Hmph"* finishing what the mean girl just said, she left with her group of followers into the elevator leaving Marika alone and shocked*
*After a few minutes Marika finally got her thoughts together as she stood up and dusted her skirt off. Before she could take a step her ankle started to throb in pain* "Augh.....Great just great....Well its now or never"
*She headed into the next elevator and presses the 21st floor and soon arrived at the front desk where a girl named Stella was sitting behind the computer*
*Once Marika tells Stella she's here for the secretary interview, Stella pointed to a waiting room full of other women who were to over or under dressed. Some wore really short skirts and revealing tops. while some wore to much like they are covering up a secret. There is one obvious thing Marika noticed, They all had to much make-up on it's like they want to seduce the big boss or something. She just shrugged her shoulders as she took up a spot near the window and waited for her number to be called.*
--------Meanwhile--------
*A man with piercing blue eyes, silky black hair, and a body of a sexy god. he looks serious, Aloof and very hard to please. Jake River was none other than the big CEO of River international Corps. one of the most riches families in New York City. Not only are they rich, their money goes way back during world war I.*
"Next"*Jake says with a sexy deep voice, while his face looks like he's gonna blow someone's head off, if they don't find the right secretary soon. He can be very picky when it comes to people around him hence why he does these things by himself. The one thing he hates the most is when someone tries to go after him for his money and smells to much of perfume. soon another lady came in who was to underdressed like she could be a hooker and smelled really badly of perfume like she drowned herself in it. she walks closer to Jake as he stood up and turns away*"Leave or else i'll have someone throw you out! This is a place for professional work not a strip joint!" *The girl ran away crying out the door as he tries to calm his nerves and sighs while sitting down*
------Back to the waiting room-------
*Marika looks up from her phone as the girl who went just before her came running out crying as she left. 'What in the world happened in there?' she said in her mind. since the doors and wall were soundproof no one knew what was going on.*
*Stella, the receptionist girl who received all the interviewees comes to the waiting room with a smile*"Miss Marika Laine, it's time for your interview the boss will now see you."
*after what was said, Marika nodded and stood up and heads to the room for her interview. She was so nervous as she didn't wondered if she'll make it.*"Well here goes nothing"*She knocked on the door as the door opened for her from the inside*
