Chapter 2: Memories
The nurse who came in the morning, came once again to change her drip. Waking out of her reverie she closed her eyes and leaned against the headboard and tried to calm down. Once again opening her eyes, she saw Elina bringing a bowl of porridge.
She placed the bowl on the small table on the bed and the nurse instructed her about the medications. Angel started to eat eat slowly with her one hand, the other being inserted a needle.
" Here let me help you". Elina started feeding her.
" Where is my phone?" Angel recalled her belongings.
" Oh its in my bag but its better you rest for a while. "
After finishing eating her medicine, Angel's headache seemed to lessen.
" Let me inform the others about your waking up. I have forgotten while being worried about you."
Angel smiled and opened her mobile phone. Going through the dates, events, chats and other information she believed that she had come back to past 13 years ago. Where Angel Jones was an uprising star. After modelling for 6 years, the 22 year old Angel has just began to start her acting career.
Angel had good acting skills so from using her as gaining popularity due to her modelling, she got offers to show her skills. The movie 'Guns and shooting' has been her turning point in her career. Her offers for modelling and acting began to shower. Her rising career could have gone well if not for her stupidity.
Berk Jonathon, an uprising businessman and her boyfriend was her most stupid mistake. After dating for two years, they were planning to get married. Their families were satisfied with each other as well. On the day of her engagement she found Berk cheating on her with Jonathan's entertainment company's PR manager Rose Victor. Making a scene in front of everyone, though they were in the wrong Rose being accustomed to handle public opinion changed in the situation by making me holding onto Berk while threatening him. Berk supported Rose as well. Though being in entertainment industry has made handle public opinion but my love for Berk had led to stupidly perform according to their wishes. From then on my reputation took a turn for the worse.
My company, family and friends tried to control the situation but whenever Rose and Berk provoked me I lost all control. I tried contacting Berk several times but the only answer he gave me was that Rose was his true and since I didn't wanted physical relationship before marriage so I should remain pure for the rest of my life.
My career suffered major setbacks due to the influence of Jonathan Entertainment. After suffering for continuous three years I had an accident where my internals suffered terrible damage and I only had a few years left.
That time I was estranged with my family and friends due to them advising me to give up on Berk. I had crush on him since High School so I didn't want to give up on time like this so far as to seduce him.
During the last few years of my life which I spend in hospital, perhaps because of nearing death or seeing the worrying look on my family members who stayed by my side I started regretting all this. I gave up on all things. My life became aimless. Even when I saw Berk and Rose marrying and having babies, I didn't felt anything. Only regretting that I cannot change everything.
Angel opened her eyes. It was already night and she was still in the hospital bed. Touching her cheeks she saw tears flowing down her cheeks. Moonlight fell through the window making the tear drops look like crystals shining in the night.
