Chapter 3: Scam
In the starry evening, lies a 2 crescent blue moon with their backs to each other.
A dream? she thought hopefully as she put her hand in the side of her head and can't help but to pull her hair.
Another world.
She reincarnated in another world.
This is crazy.
But as she thought how she's reborn again, reincarnating in another world doesn't sound that crazy anymore.

This scenario seems like those popular novel lately right? The main character died then they reincarnated in another world and from then on will walk the path of OPness.
Does that mean she'll walk the path of OPness too?

A novel?????
Her hear skipped a beat. She then again thought hard of the happenings earlier, although she can't understand the sentences those woman are saying she can still discern some of their words…
Like names.
Madam. Doria. Hearts Family.
Her heart is now beating wildly. Calm down. Calm down. Calm down. She chanted.
Hoping to calm her heart, she put her hands in her chest but other than feeling her heartbeat, she touched something cold object in her chest.
Hmm... A necklace?
The necklace is designed intricately and delicately. Hanging at the center of the necklace is a topaz that seems to shine brightly whenever the moonlight shines through it. One look and a person could tell that this is extremely expensive.
Leaving this to a child... Do they really wanted a disaster to fall on her? It's fortunate that the necklace was inside her clothes when Doria found her and just seemed to fall out when she fall asleep in the bed.
If not... They could just steal this from her and what could a child do?
As she fiddle the necklace around, she suddenly feels a bump in the other side of the topaz. She twist the topaz around and saw some letters in it.
She deeply looked at it and letters that is similar to glyphs and shapes entered her vision. Miraculously, she can understand the words too.

And at that moment, she hoped she miraculously didn't understand. Didn't they say ignorance is a bliss?

As her health fails, her strengths fade, she still can't let go of the enticing world of novels. Even if she can't lift her arm anymore, every time she wakes up she calls for a nurse to be her story teller and read the latest novels around.
It seems foolish but that's how she holds on. If not? to what?
The latest novel her nurse reads to her is a book titled 'Forever with you' written by a sadistic author and read by their masochist readers — embarrassingly, she's also one of the readers. The story's world is very awesome — full of magic and fantasy, the author described it very well too that it's not even an exaggeration saying that when reading the novel it'd take you inside it's world.
Although the story's world is amazing, the plot is focus on romance. The female lead (FL) is the typical Mary Sue — with her beauty that would make the countries fall, kind and righteous personality and female lead halo — all the male she met would end up infatuated or fall in love with her.
Being a lowborn woman and having the crown prince as the love interest, the FL was bound to have countless tragedies, dramas, problems, heartaches and being bullied by villainous cannon fodders.
As the author wanted it, the FL would be tortured and beaten in every way but of course, this would not hinder her love for the crown prince.
The male lead is also the typical douche male lead in every romance novel. He'd always ignore the FL, says hurtful word to FL, use some cannon fodder to make the FL jealous and he'd also be the bird brain ML who would rather believe rumors than the FL causing endless misunderstanding and not saving the FL when she was in need.
As the FL is being beaten and have almost problem every chapter, there would be flocks of supporting characters and second-male lead in her disposal, solving her problems after she was done being bullied. But of course FL would only love the male lead.
As the story progress, a prophecy had occurred stating that the gate that separates this world from the demon world is about to collapse and the doomsday is near. To prevent this from happening, the priests from the leading churches united and perform a massive ritual to seek help from the Gods.
The Gods heard and in return gave tremendous power to the chosen ones and called them 'heroes' and pick a rightful woman as a 'priestess' who would lead the world towards salvation. Of course the ML belongs to the former and the FL to the latter.
Having been blessed by the power of the gods the FL then first seek revenge to those who bullied her, then continued her journey to the world to find the chosen ones which only the priestess has the power to do so.
Unsurprisingly, the heroes are all men (of course they fall in love with the FL too) capable of rivaling the ML. At this moment, the ML felt threatened and finally showed his love to the FL in his own douche bag way. And no matter how douche the ML is, the FL would forever and always chose him.
What happened next? She didn't know anymore since she died. The next chapter she's supposed to read is when the gate to the demon world collapsed and the world is in chaos.
And shockingly, she was in the novel's world.
She reincarnated as someone in this world.
Was it the villainess that would always bully the female lead?
No.
The Side Character A or B that doesn't deserve recognition nor name?
No.
Of all the characters in the novel, WHY WOULD SHE REINCARNATE AS THE FEMALE LEAD!!? A magnet of problems and lovestruck males!
