Chapter 11: Start
As they entered the majestic hall , some mid-aged people could be seen wearing same blue and white attire. They were the members of su family who were responsible for foreign diplomacy and information of detsun empire.
As they saw old zai walking in with a child in his arms they stood up " greetings to supreme general "
The old man just nodded as he sat on the seat of head.
" might this be nephew mushen we heard of??"asked one from the su clan as he saw a child with majestic silvery white hair with pair of luminous red pupils
"haha yes he is" replied old zai as he said to zai mushen " shen'er greet your uncles"
zai mushen turned towards the men from su clan as he cupped his hands " greeting to uncle from nephew mushen"
All the men nodded with gentle expression on their face. As for the old man in their centre his eyes sparkled as he said" God has blessed supreme general with a genius descendent "
All su clan men to checked zai mushen as they saw a child of six years had already reached peak of core formation. Even though core formation was a lowest level still it would require long time as in this level spirit qi was to be collected in ones body to form a core as well as to clense the body with spirit qi to get rid of impurities and have a good foundation.
So less people used pills in this level , as using pills in this stage would hasten the speed but the body would still have impurities and leave behind a weak foundation. That's why these folks were astounded as they know that zai clan members don't take pills unless required, but for a child of six to reach such state. Such people were few and rare even in their high level world .
Hearing their praise for his grandson old zai was quite glad, who would not want to have their descendent praised by all.
But their was a matter at hand so old zai faked a cough " cough cough well you are here to meet princess fei'er, so let's get this done "
After saying this he called out for princess fei'er.
As princess fei'er arrived with captain si they sat on the opposite side of su clan members.
One of the su clan members stood up" greetings to princess fei'er and our condolences for your loss"
" thank you sir su " replied princess fei'er as she to stood up.
"since your matters are nation related minister su has invited you to his official residence for talk" said Sir su
"I will happily oblige" replied princess fei'er, even though she was a child she knew that with no one rely on she had to be humble if she wanted to get revenge for her family.
After sharing some word or two su clan members and princess fei'er left after bidding their farewell.

Inside the ancestral hall of zai clan
Old zai with zai mushen and other elders were making a formation as to help mushen in coming in contact with a strong spirit.
After the preparations was done old zai placed zai mushen in centre of the formation. There zai mushen sat in meditative state as to have a breakthrough and contact with spirits from nine heavens.
Seeing all things set old zai ordered"start"
with the starting of formation a dome made of light enveloped zai mushen after which his consciousness went to nine heavens .
As his consciousness drifted he passed through the barriers of second , third heavens and continued as he reached the seventh heavens.
But he got a feeling that someone was calling him to go forward to next level,
With great difficulty he reached mid of eight heaven, even though he had strong primordial spirit it to could not withstand the pressure exuded here , still there was a lingering voice calling hin on and on
" this is basically my limit but it's still calling me " said zai mushen as he looked around watching different spirits with various as well dual or tri elements. But still pushed on, as she realised the voice was from ninth heaven , he stopped as he thought" in my previous life I heard that some superior spirits would call on if the person met their requirements, since that's the case here I will push on"
He reached the barrier stopping him from going to ninth heaven but his consciousness was getting tired at faster rate. if he does not return to his body and fails in getting in contact with a spirit he will loose his consciousness and would die.
Facing such dilemma he persisted after with much effort he finally made it to the ninth heaven. But his consciousness was getting blurry and he needed to get in contact with the spirit.
After much difficulty he saw a spirit which had three faces with eight hands sitting cross legged. In each hand there were orbs of different colors red, green , purple, brown,blue,white, lustrous and lastly a dark orb which was being hold by two hand in his lap. As for its face one was gentle as saint , other was violent as devil's and last one has closed eyes with no expression as if nothing in the world can change its expression even if the world was to be destroyed.
As zai mushen was in last leg he stretched his right hand out as the spirit too stretched one arm which was carrying the dark orb, after touching zai mushen went unconscious.

At the outer world ,
Old zai and other elders could see zai mushen trembling nonstop and at last the body slumped down .
an old elder sighed " I think it's s failure" others too nodded but another elders rejected" no it has not if not the light dome would have shattered but it's still intact and the light is brighter, if my guess is right he came in contact with a spirit in upper heaven"
As soon as the old man explained the light dome was lifted and a light beam headed to spirit paper where the spirit of the cultivator would be recorded.
After the dome lifted old zai went as he checked unconscious zai mushen seeing his depleted consciousness the old man took out a pill and fed it to zai mushen , by doing so zai mushen's face regained some colour.
Carrying the unconscious zai mushen he took him to a courtyard with spirit paper with other elders
