The young boy slowly opens his eyes. A grown man enters his sight, dressed in a hunters garb.
"Kid, how long have you been here? Where did you get all those injuries?
"I... I don't kno-"
*Message detected. Playing message"
"Son, I know you have many questions. But my answers would only create more questions. Let me clarify the situation. I made this message in anticipation that the world would descend into some sort of Calamity. And that I would be dead, trying to defend this world. Just know that I love you and everything that you do. Goodbye son."
A female voice cuts in.
"Your father allowed me to add more to this message should the situation require it. The initial fight against Calamity lasted years without end. We fought as long as we could, and as hard as we could, but Calamity found our weaknesses. When the first one fell, we all knew that the rest of us would follow his steps. The beasts and demons that we fought and hunted had their strength augmented. So much that a slime could kill our most experienced Hunter. I... I sent you as far as possible, so the monster augmentation should not be much. The system should be with you. If you hear this message then it means it fused with you during the teleport. Son, just live however you want. Though you would eventually face against The Calamity. Just know, that no matter what you do, no matter who you become, you will always be my lovely child. I love you. Uiriamu."
Tears streamed down his face. He spoke with a coarse voice
"Mom... Dad... Why..."
Trembling with rage, anger, and fear.
"WHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!"
*Status Inflicted: Berserk*
"Jeez boy, Calm down. If you keep acting like that, you are not going to get any answers anytime soon."
The hunter spoke with confusion and concern.
"Listen kid. This place is not safe. There are no safe structures here, If you want to live and get revenge on whatever put you into this state. Move with me, otherwise, you are on your own."
Uiriamu is still on his rampage, not paying attention to his surroundings, nor his mind. The hunter observed with interest.
-Hmm... This aura... Don't tell me, is he that brats kid?!?-
"Kid, Wake up."
Seeing as Uiriamu did not respond to him, the hunter knocked the kid into a tree and yelled into his face.
"OPEN YOUR EYES KID, YOUR PARENTS ARE DEAD, AND SO ARE YOU IF YOU DON'T SHUT UP. SCREAMING AND HITTING EVERYTHING AROUND YOU WON'T BRING BACK THE DEAD."
Color returns to Uiriamus eyes.
*Status returns to normal*
Although his status is normal, he is still affected by what he just heard.
"THEN WHAT SHOULD I DO, HUH? MY PARENTS ARE DEAD, I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. WHAT THE F*CK DO I DO THEN?"
"I don't know kid, its your life. but there's one thing i can tell you. This world is not safe, and your parents gave their lives to stall the danger it faces. You need to do something, not this old man. If you want advice, you can find me at the ruins to the south."
The hunter walks off into the forest, his traces vanishing into thin air.
Uiriamu finds that he is all alone. Again, in a short time frame of a couple minutes.
